Today's spin. A 30 minute class, followed by a 50 minute class which started late due to technical issues.

145 minutes total, including 20-30 mins warmup & cooldown, which I'll call it 25 min on the progress tracker. That means 2h-ish near MAF. It's hard (for me, anyway)to stay at the same rate whilst on a spin bike, so I targeted lower than MAF quite a bit. Mafmeister Leo says that in Dr. P's new book, he encourages targeting below MAF, and I'm trying to be a little less type A, inspired by his progress.
I took today off from work to study, which I did all morning, to have a horsey fix, which I did this afternoon, and then, there was the mighty spin. The only bummer was being inside for the workout, but I walked home feeling blissfully accomplished and happy. It is a good day.
Eats were good. I avoided sugar, mostly. I didn't drink. Go me. Hubs made a delicious chicken Jalfrezi with loads of veg that made the night. It's hard to believe we used to eat this sort of thing with less veg, sometimes rice, and always naan. I did cave in for a literal sliver of brownie. Hubs has been so interested in them, despite my banishing them to the fridge until Monday when the prednisone ends, that I told him I would try a tiny bit. Worth it? For the taste, 100%, and I think the sample was small enough that this should be no biggy.
Tomorrow, I have class, and Friday, I have my dressage test, so no gym until Saturday. I might try to run then, though. What this means is that I'll probably just be posting sunshine pictures as I enjoy the weather at lunch!
