How Mafia!Joon reacts to his peace being disturbed
—————————————
He knows before anyone ever says a word.
Kim Namjoon has lived too long in shadows to mistake coincidence for pattern. The same car idling two streets down from your apartment, three nights in a row. Another parked too close to your work, engine running longer than necessary. Faces he doesn’t recognise, but movements he does. Waiting. Watching. Measuring.
He doesn’t react.
That’s the most dangerous part.
Outwardly, nothing changes. He still greets you the same way, warmth settling into his bones the moment he sees you. His hand still finds your back, his thumb still traces those small, absent patterns against your skin. His voice stays gentle. Familiar. Steady.
But inside, everything aligns.
He starts with timing.
He adjusts his schedule without telling you, shifting meetings, moving pieces so that his arrivals and departures line up perfectly with yours. You’re never alone, not really. If he can’t be there, someone he trusts is already nearby, invisible, blended into the rhythm of the city. He changes routes quietly, never the same path twice, never predictable. You don’t notice. You’re not meant to.
He walks you home more often now. Insists, but softly. Like it’s habit, not protection.
You notice something, though.
He’s closer. His arm tightens around you more often. He holds you a second longer when you part, fingers curling at your coat sleeve like he’s reluctant to let the night take you away from him. At home, he pulls you into his chest, solid and unmoving, like he’s anchoring himself as much as you are.
You feel it in the way he listens, sharper, more intent. In the way his gaze lingers when you talk about your day, mentally mapping places and times. You know him too well not to sense the tension under his calm.
But he never lets it touch you.
One night, after walking you to your building, he lingers on the pavement instead of following you inside. He tells you he needs to take a call. You hesitate, then nod, trusting him as you always do.
He waits until you’re safely through the door.
Then he turns.
The street is quiet. Too quiet. Headlights glow at the far end of the road, stationary, aimed directly towards him. He can’t see who’s inside, not clearly. But he knows they can see him.
He stands there deliberately, hands in his coat pockets, posture relaxed. Unhurried. He meets the gaze he can’t quite see and holds it, unflinching, like a message carried on presence alone.
I see you.
He doesn’t approach. Doesn’t provoke. He lets the silence stretch, lets them wonder how much he knows. Then he turns away first, walking back to his car like nothing in the world concerns him.
Behind the scenes, everything moves.
His men start mapping, rival territories, recent shifts, unfamiliar faces crossing invisible borders. Phone records are pulled. Surveillance reviewed. Patterns drawn. Names whispered and confirmed. Namjoon watches it all with detached focus, calm to the point of unsettling.
When the answer finally comes, it doesn’t surprise him.
He feels only a quiet, almost disappointed sense of satisfaction. Like solving a problem that should never have existed in the first place.
He handles it himself.
Cold composure. Steady hands. No raised voice. No wasted motion. A weapon rests easy in his grip, familiar as an extension of his will. There is no anger in him, only resolve. The kind that ends things permanently.
Kim Namjoon is very good at what he does.
Too good.
When he comes back to you, the night already feels lighter. You curl into him without hesitation, his body warm and solid behind you. He wraps around you instinctively, forehead resting against the back of your neck, breathing you in like he always does.
You sigh in your sleep.
He tightens his hold just a fraction.
“You’re safe with me,” he murmurs into the dark, voice low and certain. “Always.”
You don’t hear the finality in it.
But the city does.
And anyone who ever considers threatening his peace, you, learns one immutable truth far too late.
You were off-limits.
And Kim Namjoon would end anyone who forgot that, without hesitation, without mercy, without ever letting it reach you.
Jungkook wants you to join him at a BTS party. Warnings: swearing, drinking, angsty emotional pain, mentions of past ab0rtion, violence & guns, drug use. cliffhanger, pls wait for part.2 if this bothers u i'm sorry :( Important note: this is fiction and i do not condone this type of behaviour / relationship
MINISERIES COLLECTION
“And you’re sure, you’re certain there’s no reason Namjoon would wanna see you after all this time?” Jungkook sniffs, the remains of class-a substances almost completely disappeared from his airways now. He’s been very curious about your past relationship with RM, but for obvious reasons you’ve kept what truly happened to yourself.
It’s been almost a week since your dearly beloved pressed the barrel of his gun to your chin and terrified you beyond belief. Much like everything else he does it’s not been mentioned since, as though it never happened at all. You’re hurting, longing for an escape from this life but truthfully you know you can’t leave him. You’ve tried. You were almost killed.
Being with Jungkook is like you’ve been transformed into a rubber band, the harder you pull away the more painful the inevitable snap back into his arms will become. And much like a rubber band you know if you keep pulling and pulling and pulling away from him, you’ll break.
You need him.
“For the millionth time… no.” You swallow, avoiding your boyfriend’s gaze while trying to live vicariously through whatever reality tv show is playing on the new television. Giving that Jungkook had to replace the last one after the two of you… broke it.
There are multiple reasons Namjoon would want to see you, with multiple possible motives. Your somewhat whirlwind romance with the ex-club owner was short lived but it was intense. An intimate affair in its own right. There was a time you never left his office, never left his lap. He’d asked you to run away with him, but the timing was off and you were left behind. Finding out that the infamous RM who simultaneously completed and broke your heart four years ago was actually BTS' old leader was less than settling. You really didn’t know the man at all, not even his real name, and so you have no idea why he would be outside the hotel room you were nearly killed in.
Why would he come for you? Because of the abortion? Why now? Was he trying to save you? Save you from… his new gang? Nothing makes sense, your head hurts, your brain feels fried and heavy inside your skull. It’s like an inescapable bad dream, especially when it’s all your present gang leader boyfriend wants to talk about. As if he's avoiding mentioning his extreme reaction completely.
“The gangs having a party tonight.” Jungkook’s tone is somewhat absent, he’s busying himself counting stacks of dirty money next to you, not bothering to glance in your direction, too focused on the task at hand, “Do you still have that long black dress? The one with the thigh split?”
“You want me to go?” You bite back a scoff. It’s no secret that you rarely attend the BTS parties, why would you? To watch your boyfriend knock back white slug after white slug of cocaine? The idea alone makes you nauseous. You hate that side of him.
“Mhm,” Kook nods once, wetting his thumb to separate some of the bills that are stuck together, “I’ll behave I promise, no drugs.” He’s chuckling to himself, but the sound does nothing but make your skin burn.
You love him. You adore him. But you hate him. A contradiction in itself, you’re fully aware of that. To love someone so bad for you is to knowingly consume poison because you like the familiar taste. That’s what being in his life is like, the constant daydreaming and longing for things to be different all while begging they remain the same. Are you in love with Jungkook? Or are you in love with the idea of who Jungkook could be if he finally changed his ways? The man physically pulled a gun on you, despite you being ‘the love of his life’. And yet, frustratingly, he's still the most genuine and sweet man you’ve ever known.
Perhaps what you hate the most is how much you love him.
“I don’t particularly want to go to a BTS party…” You admit cautiously, nervous gaze flickering to the man you’re seated next to. He’s shirtless, wearing nothing but ripped black jeans after his shower, even his feet are bare against the cream fur rug centre of the living room. “I think I’ll just stay in tonight, thanks for inviting me though.”
At this Jungkook stops what he’s doing, carefully piling the stacks of cash next to him before turning his face to you. The thing about your relationship is that you’re constantly walking on egg shells, you never know which of his personalities you’re going to be faced with. To your surprise his handsome features are kind, his hair still damp and brushed away from his face. When you lock eyes his immediately soften, crinkling with the beginnings of a breath-taking smile.
“Please?” He gives you a goofy grin, one that’s impossible not to mirror. If only he were always this genuine and non-threatening. Things could be so different if he dropped his Russian roulette lifestyle and remained true to the man you fell in love with. “I need to look my best, and that’s just not possible without you by my side.” He winks, and you can’t help but laugh.
“Nice try,” You’re giggling, playfully slapping his denim-clad-thigh, “But flattery isn’t going to get you anywhere, I’m staying in tonight.”
Jungkook’s features drop into something cold and icy faster than you can register, until your giggles fade into a deathly silence. There’s something fierce flooding his eyes. Something that makes every nerve ending in your body freeze over with caution, “Staying in or running off again?”
“W-what are you talking about? No…” You whisper, fuck, he found the bag. You stifle a groan, attempting to remain visibly indifferent.
Right after he held a gun to your chin you packed a bag, adamant he’d hurt you for the final time – but you didn’t go through with it. Of course you didn’t. You rarely do, and when you actually do you always end up back in his arms.
Jungkook leans closer, until he’s draping a muscular tattooed arm over your shoulders. Glaring at you, through you, and it’s enough to make you swallow uncomfortably. “You and I are more alike than you think, looks like we’re both liars, baby.” The sound of him scoffing sends a rush of nausea through your stomach lining.
“I didn’t lie about anything—”
He messily grabs your jaw with a contradicting gentle grip, smirking when he leans in closer, until his pierced lips are a hair away from your own, “You weren’t exactly honest with me either, even if you didn’t go through with it you were planning on running off again at some point. I found the bag. Clearly I can’t trust you anymore, which is exactly why you’re coming to the party tonight whether you like it or not.”
“Jungkook…” Your exhale is shaky, your words even more so as they begin to rot in the back of your throat, “I-, I was scared and I…” You peer up at him through long eyelashes, blinking slowly, defeatedly, “I’m sorry.”
“I know baby, I know you are…” He coos, softening his hold and exchanging it for an inked finger lovingly caressing your cheek. His touch is equal parts comforting and nerve-wracking, but your body melts beneath it either way, as it always does. “Go and get ready,” His sharp chin tilts toward the doorway, “It’s a fancy party so I recommend that dress I bought you for our anniversary last year.”
“Okay…” You swallow again, glancing round the seemingly normal young couple’s apartment. There are pictures of you both throughout the years on the side table, the glass on the frames smashed right over your bright smile. The place screams young love, when in reality, you and Jungkook are far from the normal young couple. It’s poetic really, how the cracked frame conceals your happiness. Because that’s exactly how you feel.
Sometimes happy. Sometimes broken.
Wanting nothing but an easy life you do as he says, taking your time to get ready for the night ahead. The dress he bought you is stunning, a floor-length black gown with a long thigh split and plunging neckline that flaunts the swells of your fake breasts – another present from Jungkook two years ago. Your hair hangs in loose waves, diamond droplet earrings peeking through the strands and perfectly matching the diamond necklace sitting between your collarbones. Yet another gift from Jungkook.
The thing is – he treats you ‘well’. Everything you desire is yours without a moment of hesitation. From the breast implant surgery you wanted, to almost everything you wear. It’s yours, it’s all yours. He buys you everything a woman your age could possibly ever want. Beyond everything you could ever want. Puts a roof over your head, keeps you alive. And when he isn’t drugged up to the nines he’s so sweet, caring and genuinely loveable. Sometimes you think you’re overreacting, everybody has flaws. It’s just his flaws could very well kill him. And they’ve put your life in danger also.
Footsteps against the wooden flooring outside the bedroom prompt you to stand from the dresser, having just finished your makeup. A smoky eye and nude glossy lip, it’s been a long time since you’ve had an occasion to dress up for and so you’ve made the most of it – even if you’d rather stay at home.
When you open the bedroom door you’re greeted with your boyfriend looking every part of delicious. Raven hair slicked back and wet-looking, emphasising the undercut style. Plentiful silver hoop earrings that somehow manage to bring your focus to his jaw. Jawline so sharp it could do the man’s dirty work for him, killing anyone who dares to touch it. Everything he’s wearing is black. The suit, the shirt, the shoes, down to the tie. It’s been equally as long since you’ve seen him dressed up like this too, so much so it almost takes your breath away.
“You look—” You’re at a loss for words, jaw slack and eyes wide. You swallow, a genuine smile creeping onto your features, “You look so handsome…” And he does, he really, really does.
“Nothing compared to you…” His hooded eyes drag themselves from your toes to your face, hungry and swimming with lust. They flicker down to your breasts once, twice, three times before he smirks. Looking you dead in the eye. “Fucking look at you. You’re so beautiful Y/N.”
“Uh-, thanks…” Blood rushes to your cheeks, but he doesn’t stop the string of compliments there.
“I really am the luckiest guy in the world to call you mine.” His smirk transforms into a smile, a panty-dropping, earth-shattering bright smile that throws you off balance. “Gorgeous.” He hums with pride, edging close enough to steal a soft open-mouthed kiss that you reciprocate.
Soon his strong arms snake round your body until they find your ass, squeezing it softly when his tongue slips into your mouth. You’re in a daze, hypnotised by the feeling of his body so close to yours. If only things could always be this simple, just you and him, untainted by anything else. It’s when you playfully tug his bottom lip between your teeth that he chuckles, letting go of your ass cheeks with another smirk, “Later baby, I promise. We’ve gotta go.”
“Right now?” You pout, using your best whiny voice that you know drives him insane. The icy discomfort of the accusation he threw at you earlier has completely dissipated, being with him is so hot and cold and right now? You feel nothing but hot.
At this he closes his eyes, inhaling, as though he’s having the debate of the century inside that handsome head of his, he sighs, kicking his head back with a tiny groan. “Trust me I wish we had time, trust me. You-, ah… There’s no way you’re not getting your brains fucked out tonight wearing that.” He grins, shaking any intrusive thoughts from his mind before he plants a chaste kiss to your temple. Breezing past your body to get to the dresser.
“What are you looking for?” Your gaze follows him.
“This,” He holds up his favourite gun before tucking It neatly into his suit jacket, “And… This.” He slides the brass knuckle duster onto his inked fingers, flexing his hand a couple times until he’s comfortable with the way the new accessory feels. Your stomach churns, reality shooting you in the face. Back to feeling cold.
Jungkook fixes his tie in the mirror, a hand brushing back his hair to keep the style in place. Everything about him screams danger tonight, he looks like he means business. Which is less than fortunate for you considering what line of business that entails. Clearing your throat you walk over to your shared bed, grabbing your stiletto heels.
He's staring at you through the mirror, “Sit down.”
“It’s okay I’ve got it—”
But Jungkook doesn’t fold, gently pushing your shoulders until you’re perched on the edge of the mattress that’s seen thousands of your most intimate moments together. He kneels before you, gripping your ankle and planting it atop his bent knee, sliding your foot into your heel before criss-crossing the dainty straps over your smooth legs, being sure to make the knot extra tight.
“Thank you…” You whisper, grateful and albeit a little surprised by the gesture, giving him the other foot. “I could’ve done it myself though.”
"I know," The corners of his lips tug into a smile, focussed on your other shoe, "Just another excuse for me to show you how much I love you." He says, affirming his words with a small kiss to your ankle.
You giggle lightly in return, staring at him with nothing but love and adoration. It’s moments like this that you wish could last forever, when your boyfriend is selfless and kind. But the glimmer of the brass knuckle duster beneath the bedroom light is a painful reminder that he’s not always this person. Not by a long shot.
--
BTS’ manor house is nothing shy of extravagant. It’s tucked behind other huge mansions concealed and protected by a large black gate that even you don’t know the access code for. By the time you arrive the party looks to be in full swing, music booming from every angle of the obnoxiously gigantic building. Your stiletto heels knock uncomfortably against the stones on the driveway, prompting Jungkook to lift and carry you inside from the car, effortlessly, as though he’s always had the weight of you in his arms.
“Jungkook! Over here!” His best friend calls from the bar as soon as you step inside, nursing a flute of champagne and entertaining all of three women who’re practically clawing the grey suit off his frame. “It’s good to see you Y/N.” Jimin adds when you get a little closer, your boyfriend finally resting your feet to the ground.
“Looking as gorgeous as ever.” Jimin hums, tugging you into an awkward half-hug where he kisses your cheek, prompting Jungkook to laugh.
“Careful there. Keep your hands to yourself before I have to break them,” He jokes, though there’s a spike of malice to his tone that even you notice, “Is everybody here?”
Jimin nods, pursing his usually plump lips into an awkward line, “Whole team is here now, yeah.”
“What’s this party for?” Your gaze flickers between the two men, thanking Jungkook when he passes you your own flute of champagne. The manor house is busy, bursting at the seams with fabulously dressed men and women who look as though they own the world. Everybody here has money, not just money but money. It’s obvious, wealth oozes from the crowd of party-goers and you’re glad you listened to Jungkook’s outfit recommendation.
“You didn’t tell her?” Jimin’s frowning, nudging his blonde bangs from his eyes with one hand, feeling up one of his groupies with the other. You bite back a grimace at the sight, “This party is for you Y/N.”
“I-, what?” It’s your turn to frown, stare snapping to your boyfriend instantly. He’s nodding slowly, expertly analysing the crowd as though he’s looking for someone. “What do you mean this party is for me?”
“A welcome home party.” Jungkook sniffs, still busy searching for something hidden in the sea of people, “I missed you baby.”
Jimin’s smiling, peeling a small button-sized packet from his suit trouser pocket, filled with crushed white powder. “He was insufferable without you Y/N,” He chuckles, opening the tiny bag and dipping a key into the snow, taking a heap of it on the metal before vacuuming it up with his symmetrical nose, “You want a bump Jungkook?”
You freeze, heart hammering inside your chest. This is exactly why you don’t come to these things. For this reason. You love Jungkook, but you hate the fact he toys with his life so recklessly. He knows you hate drugs, he knows you don’t approve of the risky decisions he makes every time the dust of forced dopamine finds it’s way into his nostrils –
“Nah, not tonight.”
“Really?” Jimin’s brows are hiked so far up his forehead it’s wrinkled, taking the surprise straight out of your mouth, “You sure? It’s good shit, imported from Columbia and I haven’t crushed it with anything else. It’s pure cocaine Kook, your favourite.” The bag has found it’s way into the hands of one of Jimin’s adorers and you watch her with nothing but disgust when she takes a bump too. So out in the open, in front of everybody.
It's not that you're too proud to partake in such activities. It's more that you've witnessed first hand what this lifestyle does to people. When you used to work as a stripper the amount of girls who destroyed their lives over this stuff was more than enough to put you off ever trying it yourself. At first you didn't particularly care that Jungkook took drugs, most people in their twenties swimming in dirty money and guns do. But as you fell deeper and deeper in love with him, his after hours hobby started to bother you more and more.
It was around then that you established that you love him dearly - but sometimes you fucking hate him too.
“I said not tonight.” Jungkook’s tone is absent, as though he’s not fully paying attention to what’s happening right here in front of him. He's sipping champagne, finally zoning back into the conversation when the next words tumble from his lips, “I’m done with that shit.”
Jungkook’s looking right at you, deadly serious.
“Yeah, okay.” Jimin snorts, sounding every part of congested and you wonder how much of the substance he’s already consumed, “I’ve heard that before. When you change your mind let me know.”
“I’m not gonna change my mind Jimin.” If looks could kill, Jungkook’s best friend would be dead. You feel awkward, as though you shouldn’t be witnessing this unfold. Truthfully had you not been here you know it would be a very different outcome indeed, it always is. “I’m done. I’m done with coke, done with pills, I’m done with all of it.”
“You are..?” You whisper, heart thumping in your chest as though you’ve just taken a hit of the class-a powder yourself. Is this a façade? Is he only saying this because you’re standing right here? You want to believe him, but with his track record it’s a little difficult. A little too good to be true.
“I am.” He cracks a small smile, wetting his lips, “For good.”
“Well I’ll have Mr No Fun’s then…” One of Jimin’s admirers pipes up, seductively batting her lashes in the direction of your boyfriend. You frown upon seeing her sultry expression, clicking your tongue to the roof of your mouth with an audible pop. The audacity of some people, you're standing right here.
A puff of air rips from Jimin’s partially blocked nostrils upon seeing your reaction, but he turns to the red-headed woman with a drunken grin, “Yeah you will baby, come here…”
“I’m gonna-, where are the rest rooms?” You have to physically stop yourself for pulling the woman’s cheap hair extensions from her scalp when she takes a bump of blow, being sure to stare at Jungkook the whole time. Going as far to send a distasteful wink his way.
Jungkook’s already noticed your discomfort and internal anger, prompting him to tug you into his arms before his lips smash against yours hard enough to bruise.
He kisses you with everything he has, with everything the man is. As though he wants the world to know, wants her to know, that he’s taken. That he’s yours. A content rather smug hum lands in his mouth along with your tongue, swirling against his in a kiss so sinful you almost forget you’re in public. On muscle memory alone his free hand finds the swell of your ass and squeezes, a small chuckle rumbling his strong chest when you yelp.
Pulling back with a grin you hand him your champagne flute, determined to show this girl exactly who you are. When you face her she’s already staring, mouth agape and eyes narrowed with disgust, but you don’t care. It’s been a while since you’ve had to use the art of seduction to get what you want – giving that Kook’s almost always the one to come onto you first. But you have a plan, a brilliant, evil plan. You used to be a stripper after all, you know exactly how to show her who’s boss. Jungkook’s boss. Things with him may not be perfect by any means, but he's yours.
“Come here…” You whisper, locking eye contact with your new enemy. Motioning with your finger you’re very grateful that she obliges, until her face is impossibly close to yours. Jimin, the other girls and Jungkook all watch on with very cautious gazes. Though in your peripherals you can see your boyfriend smirking into his champagne glass, lips smeared with your lip gloss.
“What?” The red head says curtly, quirking a single brow.
And that’s when you lean in closer, until you’re a hair away from her dry looking lips, giving her the chance to pull back if she’s not into it. But she doesn’t, instead she gauges the situation perfectly and kisses you before you even have the chance to make the first move. You kiss her back, nothing too salacious just an innocent closed-lipped kiss that lasts no longer than ten seconds before you chuckle against her mouth, resting your forehead to hers.
“If I were you I’d savour that taste,” Your voice is loud enough for the other’s to hear, “Because that’s the closest to my man you’re ever going to get.” Pulling away you wink at her, palms finding Jungkook’s chest when you turn, “I’ll be right back…” You whisper, sweetly kissing his cheek.
Jungkook’s laughing in disbelief at your boldness, though when your body brushes past his you feel that your little display has definitely, definitely caused a nine inch problem in his slacks. “I’ll come with you,” His voice is hoarse, eyes trained to your curves before he swallows, “Excuse us.” He’s rushing you to walk faster, breath hot in your ear when his strong arm snakes round your middle, “Jealousy has never looked so fucking sexy.”
“I’m not jealous of her.” You tut, rolling your eyes all while trying to rid your features of a triumphant smirk, “I just don’t want her to think you’re available, because you’re not.” You remind him with a smile, a smile that has the suited-man equal parts flabbergasted and horny.
“Oh I know I’m not, I’m all yours baby. All fucking yours.” His fingers lace with yours before he tugs you in the correct direction, being careful not to knock over anybody in his way, “And you’re mine.” The weight of his words are met with a firm slap to your ass.
It’s when you’re almost by the restrooms that Jungkook is called over by a nearby waiter, holding a glass of champagne with a single red rose petal floating atop the bubbles. He stills, looking every part of irritated that he’s been summoned by the staff and his plans of a bathroom stall fuck have been delayed. But to your surprise, and to his utter shock, the tall waiter’s gaze zones in on you.
“For you miss, from a gentleman over there…” His head tilts behind him, Jungkook’s stare snapping in that direction faster than the speed of light itself. You swallow, brows pinching with uncertainty. On the tray there’s not only the drink but a small white card inked with beautiful black calligraphy that reads:
My cinnamon, I’ve missed you.
"RM wanted me to let you know that you won't get a chance like this again Y/N." The waiter's words are laced with venom, piercing blue eyes fixated on your horrified features.
This is not happening right now, RM is here, in the BTS mansion. And Jungkook doesn't have a clue about what truly happened between you and your old boss. His old boss. It's only a matter of time before you're forced to tell the truth and that genuinely terrifies you. You swallow, peering up at Jungkook who's large palm is reaching into his suit jacket, for the gun you saw him put in there.
"Jungkook don't." You try to warn him, but it's too late. He pulls the gun from his inner pocket and pushes it against the nameless waiter's stomach, eyes burning with blind rage.
"You've got five seconds to tell me what he wants before I shoot." His voice is serious, any flirtation long forgotten about. With a firm hold of your hand and the other pressing presumably a loaded gun to the other man's stomach, you freeze.
"Isn't it obvious?" The water laughs, in the blink of an eye pulling his own silver gun and shoving it to your ribcage hard enough to make you hiss in pain. "He wants his girl back."
Jungkook's jaw tightens upon seeing the man click the safety off his gun, eyes blown out with wrath and disgust, maybe even a flicker of fear. The kind of look that makes every hair on your body stand to attention, simultaneously wanting to escape him now he knows the truth, and be saved by him all at once.
There's a deafeningly loud gunshot that follows, but you feel no pain. For it wasn't you who'd been shot, rather the waiter who's dropping to the floor with a pained shriek. You swallow when the crowd begins to scream, chaos ensuing at the aftermath of your boyfriend's quick thinking.
That's when he turns to face you, his expression nothing short of panicked when his fingers untangle from yours,
Summary line: Candy cane sequel - The damned candy cane is moving and she’s causing a ruckus. On purpose.
(BTW: I had a big fan of the first story, wang-banana, but she’s deactivated now. If anyone who comes across this knows her, please let her know, there’s a sequel!)

Now, your neighbor was always impossibly unreasonable, but that doesn’t mean you had to be a jerk too. You hate the idea that he might take it the wrong way and think that you’ve stepped aside out of fear. You’re doing it out of respect of another human being. And that is all. That. Is. All.
That guy downstairs looks like he’s MIA again. Like you said, he wasn’t home frequent enough for you to even worry about making noise. Honestly, if he has such a problem with it, why isn’t he moving into his own home where he doesn’t have to worry about neighboring walls?
But it no longer matters to you. You get to sing and dance as usual for a good couple of weeks and found a place better than where you are now.
Okay. Now, you can be a bit petty. It’s perfect, because he just so happens to be home this week.
~
Lately, every time Namjoon steps into his home, it feels foreign to him. Before you pointed it out, he never noticed that he’s away from home so often. His place feels like a staged home or a hotel more than a sanctuary of private space. Actually, a lot of minimalist-styled homes are very similar, but at least have a picture frame, an artwork; He might even settle for a plant at this point.
Well, maybe not a plant. If it’s fake, it’s missing the point of him trying not to have his home so staged. If it’s real, he’ll just abandon it and see it dead the next time he sees it and remind him how little he comes home.
But rather than coming back reminds him of home, coming back reminds him of you. His ears are actually quite sensitive. You can wear socks, have a rug, carpet your floor, whatever, but the truth is, he can still hear you. The little thump-thump across his ceiling brings a twitch of a smile to his face before he remembers you’re not supposed to make any noise at all. But it lets him know that you’re close.
You were not a creature of habit like he is. This apartment he’s in is just shelter for him. Come home at 7, take a bath and order food to be delivered. Eat at 8:15. Finish dinner by 8:30 and then watch the news until 10.
But you don’t have a pattern. It’s like you always forget something while you’re in the middle of whatever, and you just abandon everything you were doing to do what you just thought of. Going back and forth, stopping dead in the middle of whatever room you were in, and then go back. If you were one of his boys, you’d be done. He needs deliberate people.
But he’s not as bothered about it with you. If anything, it’s cute when you do it. He’s not the type to lie to himself. He’s attracted to you. He’s been since he’s first met you. But he’s only met you once. If you were someone on the streets, he will just consider it as a one-off.
But because of your proximity and your incessant thump-thumps, you wander into his mind about how he can come up with reasons to see you again. But he knows he can’t. He’s not in the kind of occupation that makes it easy for him to have a relationship. Even if he’s not asking you out, constantly seeing you could make you a target at any time. Maybe he could, sometimes you’re protected and off limits even more so. But that’s not on him. That’s on you. And by his experience, the people he likes don’t choose a relationship with him. It is what it is.
You sleep later than him, so your thumping around your bedroom is his sleep music.
-
Your thumping is also his wake up call. And screeching. And clanging. And all sorts of ungodly noises at an ungodly hour for a Saturday.
Screw how much he’s attracted to you, you’re doing this on purpose.
He growls as he throws his covers back. You might be the only person who will ever see him in a hoodie and sweatpants.
He stomps on up to your floor and is surprised when he sees multiple people walking in and out of your apartment talking and laughing. If he wasn’t so focused on the fact that all sorts of cacaphony coming from the movement above him, he might have recognized you making conversation with someone earlier. One particular tall, muscular, handsome man. Towering so closely over you, too intimate for friends or aquaintances. Okay, now he notices.
“Oh look, it’s the grinch!” He takes his eyes off of the man to see you smirking at him from your doorway, “What do I owe the pleasure?”
“It’s 7am on a Saturday morning.” You should know what that implies, seeing as by one encounter, he’s under the impression that you’re smart. And you are. But you both know this is spite.
“Ah, would it be okay if we did this later then? 7:30?”
“It would be nice if this didn’t happen at all.”
“Oh, I think you’ll want this. I’m moving.”
“Oh?” He notices the slight pang in the center of his chest, realizing that she will no longer be living above him. Bitterness is in the back of his throat when he realizes that this is all his doing.
He wants to ask where she’s going, but it really shouldn’t be his concern; besides, if he knows, he’ll feel inclined to keep her in his mind. If she says she’s moving to Daegu, he’ll always think of her if he takes a trip out there.
He doesn’t know whether or not he truly wants to ask, but lucky for him, she tells him out of spite.
“Yeah, I’m moving up to the penthouse at the top.” You declared.
What?!
“You’re psycho!”
“Yeah. Probably.” You grin mischievously. He’s should be annoyed right now; on the one hand, letting you move out faster would give him peace. On the other hand, having you wait to move because he wants more sleep could also give you peace.
But the real issue is that he’s been wanting that penthouse for a long time now. How dare the landlord not inform him first when the penthouse became vacant; he has it in his contract that the landlord would inform him first and give him 10 days to apply and get the place. And now you’re moving up there. Not only are you moving away from his proximity, you’re moving to where he wants to be himself.
“Damn landlord.” Namjoon turns around and mutters under his breath. He turns to look over your shoulder to see many boxes have already been packed up and there’s not much left.
“No, that penthouse is mine.”
“Excuse me?” You crossed your arms and looked at him incredulously. He can’t be serious. Even in your last two days of being in this unit, he still finds a way to be unreasonable.
“Uh, I don’t know who you are but -” the man next to you begins to speak but Namjoon cuts him off.
“Shut up. I don’t know you and I’m talking to y/n.” The man next to you looks at you, attempting to communicate silently, Is this guy serious? Do you need me to take care of him?
You shake your head at him and gestures with your head to have him continue moving the boxes.
“Don’t worry, I got this.” The man stares down Namjoon one more time before going back into your apartment.
“You’ve got to be kidding. I signed the contract. Over half of my things are already moved in.”
“Yes, but our landlord had an agreement way before you even moved into this building.”
“Yeah, but your 10 days are up from last week.” Namjoon widened his eyes.
“Yeah, the landlord told me. We bonded over your unreasonable demands; he actually invited me over for tea to talk about it.” You lifted your chin and grinned smugly.
“Ok, keep smiling now, but I’ll get that penthouse. There are definitely ways to make him nullify your contract.”
“Ooo, your gun again? Shocking!” He steps closer to you and growls lowly. You crossed your arms again, mostly to provide a barrier between both you.
Namjoon takes a quick glance behind you to see if there’s anyone in the apartment that will see you two, and that also distracts you for a second. In the next one, he grabs your arm and pull you to the side and puts you against the wall with one arm pushing against your neck. It’s a wonder no one heard it, but this is his profession.
“What the fuck?!” You whisper-scream. You’re sure whatever he does is illegal but this is not the time for people to come out and start questioning why his first response is always violent.
“That penthouse is mine. I need it, and you’re going to have to move your stuff back.”
“You never really let anyone play in the sandbox with you when you were a kid, did you?” You heard another growl from him but this time, you felt a little shiver on your back. You hope he doesn’t realize it but his smirk tells you otherwise.
You sigh and grab his elbow and push it up and to the side; it makes him lose his grip on you and you sidestep away from him. Every time.
“What did I say the first time we met?”
“’Merry Christmas, Mr. Grinch’?” Now it’s Namjoon’s time to grin cheekily. You glare at him, “You don’t touch me.”
“Look, I --” He paused as he realized, he was about to address you by your name, but you two never exchanged names.
“I’m sorry, what was your name again?” You roll your eyes and scoff at him. Walking around him, you head back to into your apartment.
“What? We never formally introduced each other.” His words put a halt to your steps as you finally came to that same realization and you look at him, “Riiiight.”
And then you continue moving forward.
“Wait. What is your name?” You scoff again, turning back to him, “No. You don’t need to know my name. I’m leaving your proximity and you are almost never here. You don’t need my name anymore.”
And with that, the sunlight from your living room disappears from the hallway and he’s left empty.
---
“Thanks for all your help, Soobin.” You gratefully expressed as you two stepped into the elevator.
“No problem. It was my pleasure. It’s good to be done quicker with moving and stuff. It’s less stressful now.”
“Yeah. Without any help, it might have taken me two months to finish everything.”
“You know,” He begins speaking in a tone that you know that something is up, “All this work has worked up an appetite. I could really go for eating something.”
“Really? It’s 10pm.”
“Then how about some late night dessert? I love sweets.” He helped you out with packing up and moving out so quick, it’s the least you can do.
“Sure. My treat.” The elevator doors open to the parking garage.
“Oh don’t worry, it’s always been your treat in my mind.” Soobin winks and the two of you laugh on your way to his car.
“Fine. Where do you want to go?”
“Sulbing?”
“Sure. I’ll meet you there.” You stop right in front of his car as he heads for the driver’s side.
“Why don’t you just come with me? I’ll drop you off after.”
“No, don’t worry. I have something that I have to take care of first.”
“I can just wait for you.”
“No, don’t worry. It won’t take long. I’ll meet you there.” Soobin shrugs and waves to you as he gets into the car, “Okay, see you there!”
“Bye!” You wave him off. Once his car disappears from your line of sight and his red lights have disappeared from the walls, you spin around.
“Hello?” You call out into the seemingly empty parking garage.
“How the hell did you know someone was here?” Namjoon comes out from his car and closes it.
“I don’t know. It’s like ever since you’ve put your hands on me twice, I can’t help but have this internal alarm whenever you’re around now.” You throw your hands up in the air.
“I’m sorry. You probably said that sarcastically, but because of our past exchanges, that may actually be real for you. I should have never put my hands on you with intent of violence. Or, technically, never should have put my hands on you period.”
“That’s better.”
It’s silent for a little while between the two of you.
“Look, I’m sure you’re really happy to have that penthouse, and if it were any other circumstance, I would’ve been fine. But I need that penthouse.”
You cross your arms, gearing up for a new unreasonable conversation.
“Really? Is there a good reason why?”
As the words leave your lips, Namjoon nearly breaks his own neck, turning towards screeching noises coming from the entrance of the parking lot.
He runs quickly towards you and grabs your hand, pulling you back to his car as fast as he can.
“Hey! What did we just sa --”
“Get in. Now!” He didn’t have time to pull you to the other side into the passenger seat and practically throws you in to the back seat.
He gets in to the drivers side and immediately peels his car out of the parking spot. He looks into the rear view mirror to see the car he’s expecting all along just turn the corner to the same lane as he’s driving out of.
“I can’t fucking believe you. What the hell, man?” You sit up from the back seat and poke your head out to his side, over the middle console.
“Sit back! Head down, Candy Cane.” Candy cane?
You turn around to see the car that he’s trying to get away from and immediately lay down as flat as you can across the width of the back seats.
Namjoon has already driven out of the garage and takes the left. He presses one button on his wheel and the car begins connect his call.
“Taehyung! Why the fuck is Indominus chasing us?!” Namjoon growls visciously into the car’s microphone.
“Sir?! What happened?” A voice that you now connect to a name is trembling. You hear a lot of rummaging from the background.
“Who’s ‘us’?”
“Taehyung! I’m not repeating myself!”
“Shit. Okay. We took care of them before you got home...We, may have missed one. Everyone’s on their way now. Yoongi’s going to send you where the extraction point is and we’ll take care of everything from there. ETA: 6 minutes.”
“You better make that three.” With that, Namjoon hangs up. He hears you sighing from the back seat. All you can do right now is fold your hands together and lay it on your stomach.
“Hey Soobin, sorry I can’t make it to dessert. I got held up in a crossfire of illegal activity and I think I’m not going to make it for bingsoo. Enjoy your night!” You mumble under your breath in fake cheerfulness.
“Please tell me your not calling or texting anyone.” Namjoon mindlessly drums his thumbs over the top of the wheels, attempting this weak form of conversation.
“Of course not! I don’t know who anyone is right now, but there’s no reason to add on a potential tracking signal.” You put one of your hands up to your forehead.
“...You’re very calm for someone who’s in this situation right now.” Namjoon gets a notification from his touchscreen and he clicks on it, revealing his team’s extraction map pin. You say nothing.
Shots get fired at Namjoon’s car and you immediately cover your head, still laying down. Clearly he’s prepared for this, because the bullets barely make a dent on the body of the car and the back window doesn’t have a scratch.
“Shit!” Namjoon attempts to stretch his hand over to his glove compartment. You lift your head up to see his actions. His gun has slid to the other side of the compartment, which makes it out of his reach.
You groan loudly and wildly for a moment, which takes Namjoon by surprise. And even more surprise when he feels you move him out of your way, sit in the passenger seat and grab the gun. You quickly slide out the magazine to check the number of bullets, put it back in, unlock the safety, and cock it back to ensure a bullet is in the chamber.
You wait until the car behind you have stopped shooting and you quickly roll down the window on your side and turn around to shoot at their tires. They were quick to adjust because they did a controlled zig-zag on the road.
“Shit.” You bring the window back up and you take out the magazine, “Do you have another round?”
He widens his eyes at all the actions he just witnessed and slowly grabs another mag from his side door. You grab it from him and load it back into the gun.
“What the fuck? Who are you?!” You ignore his bellowing and attempt shooting at the tires. At the fifth bullet, you successfully hit one of the tires. It swerves and slows down to the side of the road.
You exhale loudly, trying to catch your breath, as you sit back into the passenger seat. You do your best to ignore Namjoon constantly looking back at you.
“Okay, seriously though, what the fuck?” You finally roll your head around to look back at him. He almost didn’t take his eyes of you as he waited for an answer.
“Let’s just say, I’ve been in something like this before and I’ve learned from my mistakes.” And you left it at that. The rest of the car ride was short but it felt like forever with the silence you both shared. You clearly weren’t going to say anything else.
He slows down to the extraction point, and his display changes with a soft voice saying, “You have arrived to your destination.”
You two immediately get out of the car, just in time for his team of 6 to grab you two.
“Who is this?” Hoseok asks Namjoon as the team escorts you two to a different car.
“Where are those bastards?”
Namjoon gets to the van first and looks back at you, trailing in the back with Hoseok grabbing onto your elbow.
“No questions.” He let out an exasperated sigh. His mind has been running wild since you climbed to the passenger seat. You didn’t seem willing to answer any more of his questions, let alone his team.
“Are you okay?” Hoseok quietly asks you as Namjoon gets into the back. Jungkook heads to Namjoon’s car; he’ll have to take it to a garage and recycle the car back into their storage. The other men go back to their cars and Jimin gets into the driver’s seat of the van,
“Yeah...I just want to go home.” Hoseok nods, “We’ll take you back safely, don’t worry. Where do you live?”
“I...am your boss’ neighbor.” Hoseok’s memory clicks in remembrance of a certain annoying neighbr of Namjoon’s, who surprisingly let her live. If you were any other neighbor, then he’s extremely Hoseok grins so widely as this may be the most interesting and entertaining thing he’s ever witnessed about his boss. He nods and leads you into the van, next to Namjoon.
--
“Bye!” His team bids you farewell enthusiastically. Hoseok texted the rest of the group to share the interesting connection you have to their boss. The entire ride home, Hoseok and Jimin attempt to have a decent conversation with you and learn more about you than Namjoon ever did in his two encounters. Namjoon stayed quiet and kept looking out the window the whole ride.
You and Namjoon walk into the building, you waving back to his team and Namjoon just heading towards the elevator.
You finally take out your cellphone, now that you’re technically back in your organic environment and see 5 missed calls, 2 voicemails, and 8 texts from Soobin.
- I thought you were in trouble!
- I tried coming back to your place, but the security is really top notch here. They won’t let anyone back in without a tenant profile or a name on the visitor’s list.
Maybe that’s why the Grinch chose this place, for it’s security. But how could the other car come into the parking garage? Perhaps it’s not so safe afterall.
- Don’t worry, you text back, I’m fine. I just got caught up in unpacking something and it just spiraled into a whole thing. I’m fine. I’m going to go to sleep now though. I just went through a whole thing.
He immediately texts back.
- Okay. I’m coming over tomorrow to check in on you. Please put me on the visitor’s list?
- Lol okay. Goodnight.
Ding! The elevator opened and you two step into the elevator. Namjoon presses the top floor first and lets you head up.
At floor 8, he finally says something.
“Look. I don’t know your name, what you do, what happened to you before, or how you know how to do the things you did tonight. But I am sorry I got you in this mess. I will move out. I can have my men install a top notch security program that was built by Yoongi. If you want, I can even find you a whole new penthouse and pull some strings to move you there and set up the security. Whatever happened to you before, I’m almost certain that it was not a good experience, so I’m sorry you may have re-lived it.”
Wow, that’s so many ‘sorry’’s in one night coming from some guy like him. You peek a glance over at him.
“...Why did you call me Candy Cane?” Namjoon had the strongest urge to shift out of embarrassment and surprise, but he stood firm. He did sigh however. How is it only floor 25?
“The moment you opened the door. That’s what you looked like to me. A beautiful candy cane.” Your cheeks flush red, and that’s not an easy reaction to get out of you.
“Thank you.” Namjoon just grunts.
Level 30.
“I work in tech, so I’ll find a way to build my own security system. Although, now I so many changes to my current program now that I know the bigger risks...I will take you up on your offer, but I’m don’t want a new penthouse. I’m going to put it in my back pocket as an IOU.”
Ding! Level 59.
You step out of the elevators.
“Thank you for apologizing. I know that couldn’t have been easy for you,” you continue to mutter under your breath, “even though you shouldn’t have such a hard time with it in the first place.”
“Yeah, I’m working on it.” He heard you.
You look back at him. He truly looks embarassed and disappointed with himself.
Before the doors close, you hold it back and it opens back up.
“Hey, thanks for doing your best at protecting me.”
“It felt more like you were protecting me.”
“And what’s wrong with that? You have so many peope protecting you all the time. I’m just one of the few.”
“Not to me, Candy Cane.” You smile at him for real for the first time since you opened the door to him, not recognizing the can of worms you’d open.
“My name is Y/N...but I like kind of like Candy Cane.” Namjoon finally smiles at you for real for the first time at all.
“But now, I like your name, Y/N.” You let out a smirk.
“What’s yours?”
“Namjoon.”
The elevator doors cry out an annoying beeping noise to remind you two that the doors have been open for too long.
You pull Namjoon’s sleeve and take him out of the elevator. He didn’t expect it and he slammed right into you, him wrapping his arms around your waist and your hands over his arms. He looks down at you and gives you such a gentle smile, you’re caught a little off guard. He gives you a little squeeze and makes you look up to him.
“A little rough there, Candy Cane.”
You giggle, “I should give you a nickname.”
“I thought it was Mr. Grinch.”
“I mean, if you really want to keep that. I’m giving you a once-in-a-lifetime chance to change it.”
“Okay. I want to be Handsome Man.”
“Ooo,” you wince, “Someone’s already taken that nickname.”
It almost stuns him for a second, but you start laughing, “We’ll keep thinking. Right now we have Mr. Grinch and Handsome Man in the running.”
“Mmm, Handsome Man is sooo good though.” He leans in just a bit and you can feel his breath on your cheek.
“We should really get some sleep, Namjoon.” He took the hint and loosened his grip on you, but not completely.
“Sure thing, Candy Cane. Sweet dreams.” His grip on you didn’t loosen the same way yours didn’t on him.
“Y/N?”
“Yes?”
“Will you tell me what happened to you before?” Your smile begins to falter as you slowly let go of his arms. He took the signal and slowly unwrapped his arms around your waist.
“I haven’t really told anyone, and I’m nowhere near telling anyone. You already know more than anyone in my life right now just by what I said earlier tonight.” Namjoon felt stunned and a little mad at himself. Even if he didn’t know what you’ve gone through, he brought an innocent person into his mess, and he likes you too. Now that he knows that you’ve gone through something you find unspeakable, any thoughts he had
He slowly takes a step back, “Once again, I’m sorry.” He pushes his hand backwards to press the elevator button. Ding!
As he steps into the elevator, you call out to him, “Namjoon!” He holds the door open button.
“You want to bring your boys by some time? I can make you guys a thank you dinner and we can test out if Yoongi’s security system or my security system works better...” Your words are met by an agreeable grunt.
“And I don’t want you to move out. But we should probably inspect closer to why the parking garage let them in with our building’s security. If any or either of us continue living here, this building has to be be the best at security.”
Namjoon’s ears perked up when he heard that you don’t want him to move out, “Really? You’re okay with me sticking around?”
“Yeah sure. The best way to test a security system is to have a huge target worth breaking in.” You smirk.
“Wow, you know I’m pretty important in my circle you know? And you’re just keeping me around like bait?”
You shrug, “It’s time you find out that this world is a lot bigger than your circle.”
Amused, he smirks, “Good night, Candy Cane.”
“Good night, Handsome Man.” You cross your arms and tilt your head a little to keep eye contact with him until the door closes until you turn around and head into your bedroom.
As Namjoon leans back and tilts his head to the wall, he’s learned a few more things about you.
One, your name is Y/N.
Two, You’re a badass that can take anything he dishes out, regardless of your experience that he’s so curious about.
Three, despite that, if he can ever get a chance with you, and you both want it, this is real and he has to protect you above all else.

Evil.
Pure evil.
No matter how much she thought about it, Hana couldn’t come up with any other word that would define what she was doing right now. Sitting in the darkness of the van, she sat before your unconscious figure, trying to give a name to the whirlwind of emotions brewing in her, holding herself back from simply blowing your head off. Every glance she threw your way was filled with hatred and jealousy, the reason behind it being as obvious as the existence of the sun. And with every passing minute, with every urge she dodged, she feared that she was turning into the very monster she ran away from years ago.
Hana sniffled, wiping her nose with the back of the hand that held her gun while staring outside at the cliff she knew all too well, recalling how the scene before her looked exactly like what she had seen with Namjoon on that one unfortunate night, all those years ago.
It was the night when he had first told her that he was going to follow in after his father’s footsteps. She still remembered how her heart broke, how all the trust and faith she had in her best friend had disappeared without hesitation. In all the time she had known him, joining his father in doing something so gruesome was the last thing Namjoon would do. Or so she thought. She had hoped that he loved her just enough to leave all of it behind and spend forever with her. Hoped that he would give up this life that would do nothing but tear them apart. Because even in her wildest dreams, Hana couldn’t imagine loving a murderer. And that’s exactly what Namjoon had become.
Pulling her phone out of the pocket of her coat, she dialed Namjoon’s number with teary eyes, the rage in her heart begging to be unleashed. Pressing it to her ear, she counted the number of rings before hearing a click, indicating that he had picked up the call.
“Who’s this?!” He barked, annoyance evident in his voice upon being interrupted in his search operation by an unknown caller. But Hana wasn’t about to blame him, she wasn’t even using her actual phone. Correction, she rather couldn’t. Because the last thing she wanted was to watch him choose someone over her, once again.
“Why her, Joon?” Hana whimpered, losing her mind piece by piece as she struggled to keep her sanity in check.
“Why her?”
The silence that followed after her question was deafening, to say the least, the only other sound being that of Hana’s soft cries. She had heard him gasp upon hearing her voice, clearly surprised that she had called him after daring to kidnap his precious little lover.
“Hana, where are-?”
“No!” She replied sharply, her sadness morphing into anger at the realization that all he cared about was where she was, just so he could get to you and save you. But not tonight. Hana had plans for you and she was gonna make sure she executed them.
“Not tonight, Namjoon. Because I am going to make sure you never see her again,” she glanced at you with gritted teeth, “gonna hurt you just as bad as you hurt me.”
“Hana! Are you even listening to yourself? This isn’t you! Just tell me where you are,” he begged, making Hana smile at the irony.
'This isn’t you.'
Wasn’t she?
“That’s what I thought about you but you proved me wrong. And so, it’s only fitting that I do the same to you,” she mocked, a smile on her lips that was almost the perfect definition of insanity being wiped off just as it appeared at the sight of you starting to squirm and frown, sirens ringing in her head to cut the call now.
“However, I’m gonna give you one last chance to fix this.” Hana said, using the barrel of her gun to brush your hair away from your face, “Meet me at the place where you last met me as you. Just my Joonie and not Kim Namjoon.”
Pointing the gun right at your forehead, Hana closed one eye, placing her finger on the trigger before giving her long-gone-best friend the ultimatum.
“If you remember, great! But if you don’t, then it’s all over for your girlfriend here.”
Namjoon stayed frozen, his phone simply slipping away from between his fingers and falling to the ground with a sound that didn’t quite reach his ears. Ever since he saw the van leave, he had stayed right there with the rest of the members. It was a little too difficult for him to get a grip on the situation and Hana’s phone call only made things worse. Never had he ever imagined that his Hana, a girl he had known all his life, would do something like this. Moreover, never had he ever imagined that he’d be the reason behind the pain Hana was ready to inflict on you.
“Namjoon!” Feeling a tight grip on his shoulder, the man in question forced himself back to reality and away from his overbearing thoughts, his eyes holding no emotion when they met Yoongi’s.
“What was Hana talking about? Where do we have to go?” Yoongi questioned, eyebrows pulled into a frown and sweat beading on his forehead upon seeing his friend so out of it. He could tell that Namjoon was in no state to even begin to register his words but he, himself, was feeling helpless. The things that happened between Namjoon and Hana were unknown to them all, being only between the leader and his now ill-wisher. Even if Yoongi wanted to take charge, he couldn’t and that drove him to feel much more panicked than he already was.
“I couldn’t track her, the signal kept jumping. She knows what she’s doing,” Taehyung stated worriedly, earning frustrated glances from everyone as he went back to trying again on his laptop in the back of the car. It was almost unbelievable that Hana was so cautious, even to Jungkook who had known her as a girl who didn’t like risks. Because this kind of cautiousness wasn’t something normal people took to in their daily lives. Contrary to the torture theory, Hana was most definitely a part of something bigger in her time away. There was no other explanation as to why she met that cop and there was no explanation as to why she had become this vengeful all of a sudden.
“You know, you can’t just stay mum when Y/N needs you!” Rex pointed accusingly, looking a little bit more worried than Namjoon himself, as Jungkook noticed. The newbie’s bloodshot eyes were corroborating his suspicion which Jungkook simply blamed on him being new to all of this. With time, Rex would soon come to understand that this was what they did every single day, deal with nothing but betrayals and tough decisions, exactly what Hana had thrown their way.
Glaring at Rex, Jin gestured for him to shut up, not feeling disappointed in the least as the youngest lashed out. Sighing shakily, he moved to kneel beside Namjoon whose limbs had given up on him, glancing around them at the chaos that was slowly coming to an end as the sound of a siren indicated the arrival of a fire brigade along with a few ambulances.
“You’re the only one she has, Joon.”
And it seems that was enough for Namjoon to look up at his friend, several emotions filling his eyes as he heard what Jin said. In a blink of an eye, his mind began flooding with all the moments he shared with you, also recalling how it felt to fall a little more in love with you every passing second of every passing day.
He remembered dancing with you when you had figured out just how stressed he was, feeling grateful for how much it mattered to you that he stays happy. He remembered kissing you, his heart thrumming at how alive he had felt that night. He remembered the smile you gave him before entering the maze, him being your comfort place being the last thing your eyes told him. And for all you were worth, he was willing to do anything to save you.
Even if it meant forgetting what Hana meant to him once upon a time.
A smile played at Namjoon’s lips, not the good kind at all. Suddenly, the leader’s aura had changed, the man you had never had a chance to see making an appearance. Low laughter sounded through the air as everyone watched Namjoon stand up, his eyes darkening with malice.
“I know exactly where she is,” Namjoon announced, walking towards his car whilst ignoring everyone’s confused glances. He sat in the driver’s seat, gesturing for everyone to get into action before looking at the seat beside him. The phone he had gifted you sat there inside the white box, his jaw clenching as he longed to get to you before Hana even laid a finger on you.
“She wants to play? I’ll fucking play.”
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
“Please, please let me go. I don’t wanna do this, dad,” you begged, your back pressed against the basement wall of your childhood home as your father loomed over you with a damp cloth in his hand. The dim lights on the ceiling made him look more like a monster and less like the man you had known all your life.
“Come on, Y/N. Don’t you wanna help me earn money? Don’t you wanna be rich and live in luxury?” He questioned, tilting his head as if to wait for your response. And just as you began to shake your head furiously, his eyes turned cold, staring at you like you were a stranger who didn’t matter to him. Didn’t matter at all.
“I wasn’t giving you a choice, sweetheart,” he knelt before you, running his fingers through your hair, “when girls like you grow up, this is how they earn money. By selling their bodies.”
Hearing your father say those words made you grimace in disgust, your tears showing your disapproval towards who he had become. Only if your mother was still alive.
All of a sudden, you felt your hair being tugged at harshly, your head being forced to face the ceiling. You screamed, gripping your father’s hand and digging your nails into his skin with all your strength. He hissed in response, cursing under his breath before looking into your eyes and placing the chloroform-doused cloth over your mouth. And as you closed your eyes, you realized your father was long gone. You had no one to fend for you anymore.
Just you.
Only you.
You shot your eyes open immediately, not wanting to be a part of that awful memory that had managed to resurface in your mind. With a heaving chest, you blinked a few times in an attempt to adjust to the darkness around you, a strong smell of gasoline taking over your senses along with the leftover panic from your dream. Shivers ran down your spine as you realized that your hands had been tied together, the discovery only adding to your stress.
“Wha-” you cried, pulling at the thick rope which further dug into your skin. Your eyes caught sight of a pair of boots before you, your cries fading into silence as you slowly looked up at who sat before you. And as the moonlight filtered in through the windows of whatever vehicle you seemed to be in, you saw her staring right at you with an amused expression.
Hana.
The sight of her face was enough to help you remember everything that had happened before you blacked out, the lingering smell of chloroform giving rise to a strong feeling of nausea along with flashes of the maze.
Mirrors.
Red lights.
Namjoon.
“From the look on your face, I can tell you know me,” you heard her say, your eyes taking her in as if you had never seen her before. But of course, you had. The night you had seen her for the first time had been an unfortunate one and you had deemed it unforgettable, her face etching itself into your memory without any intention of being forgotten.
“Why am I here? Where is Namjoon?” You questioned, your voice coming out small and fragile instead of strong and intimidating but there was nothing you could do. It was already a pain trying to keep yourself from bawling your eyes out after seeing your father’s face so fresh in your mind. On top of that, you understood perfectly well that Hana had abducted you without the knowledge of anyone. There was no way to even tell if Namjoon was coming to get you but you were trying your best to stay hopeful.
Because you trusted him.
A lot.
“You, my darling, are here to serve a great great purpose. And as for Namjoon,” she began, smiling at you with an aura so bright that it made her look crazy, “what makes you think he’ll come here for you?”
Her question made you frown, leaving you confused as to what you were supposed to say that. Nothing had ever been said between you two except for that night when he kissed you. Apart from that, what he felt or what you meant to him, you had no idea.
“Cat got your tongue, Y/N?” Hana pouted, her mocking tone making you much more upset than you already were. The real reason wasn’t even her though. It was the fact that you didn’t know who you were to him but you did know who Hana was to him. From the way he didn’t hesitate for a single minute before leaving you behind for her, it was clear that she was someone he cherished dearly. But you?
What were you to him?
“Here’s the truth, Namjoon will choose that disgusting life of his over you any given day. You mean nothing to him just like I meant nothing to him,” she chuckled bitterly, her eyes tearing up at the sad words she called the truth. Looking at the floor of the car, you pursed your lips, not wanting to sympathize with the girl who had kidnapped you. But at the same time, it was difficult for you to ignore her words.
What did she mean by disgusting life?
“His life is anything but disgusting,” you pointed out with a hint of hesitation in your voice, eyeing her expression carefully since you didn’t wanna say anything that would upset her. Maybe Namjoon being busy most of the time didn’t sit well with her. That’s why she called it disgusting. Because what was disgusting about being the CEO of a company as big as his? As far as you could think, nothing was the correct answer here.
Suddenly, a cackle echoed through the dark, Hana’s head tipping back as she barred her teeth to you. A flash of fear ran through your veins, giving rise to goosebumps on your skin as you inhaled deeply at her reaction to your words. But everything fell silent soon enough, her eyes now boring into yours as she leaned forward.
“What kind of a person do you have to be to justify the fact that he runs a fucking crime syndicate?”
It was as if everything around you faded into nothing, your eyes freezing on Hana’s face as her words rang in your head. Crime syndicate? What was she saying?
“What are you…-you’ve got it all wrong, Hana. Joon runs Kim Enterprises, not some…some mafia gang.” You stuttered, a part of you wondering if you were convincing her or yourself. Because suddenly, a lot of things started making sense.
His late-night meetings. Your father fearing him. That gun.
Shaking your head, you took in a deep breath, yelling at your conscience for doubting Namjoon like that. He had saved your life and was constantly taking care of you. How could you doubt him? There was no reason for him to lie to you. Especially since he got mad at you for working at that club. There was no way he had lied to you.
Right?
“One of the members of his gang, Kim Seokjin runs that company. And that too so the group can have some kind of leverage with finances and their illegal shit.” She rolled her eyes, making your heart drop to your stomach.
Hurt. Betrayed. Foolish.
These were only some of the feelings you could name on the tip of your tongue, the rest of them collectively working to rip your heart into pieces. It felt like someone was stabbing you again and again and again, tears welling up in your eyes as you struggled to breathe.
Namjoon had lied to you? And you had been dumb enough to believe every word that came out of his mouth since day one. Even when your father had cowered in fear before him, you could tell nothing. But you knew nothing scared your father. Then how did you not know who Namjoon was to be able to hold that power over your so-called guardian?
Just how?
You whimpered, feeling too weak to even sit up as your body leaned forward and your forehead met the floor of the car. Your skin was hot all over, tears falling down onto the black leather mat which also smelled like dust. With a heaving chest, you let out a loud cry, not caring about the fact that you had been kidnapped. All you knew was that you didn’t wanna face him. Moreover, you didn’t want him to come to save you.
Because what could he do to save you when the truth was already killing you inside?
“Wait a minute, you had no idea, did you?” You heard Hana say, her tone making it evident that she was enjoying this. She was enjoying how upset you felt and she was feeding off of your sorrow. Feeling a hand at the back of your head, you shivered, closing your eyes tightly as fingers ran through your hair.
“Don’t worry, darling. You won’t feel anything in a minute. None of this pain. Just nothing.” She whispered, her hand leaving your hair before the door of the car opened. Inhaling sharply, you sat up, watching her move to the driver’s seat and turn the engine on.
“What are you doing?” You asked, frowning deeply while watching her move around outside the van to pick up a rather heavy rock. In response to your question, all she did was grin, your heart beating harder and harder.
“It was nice knowing you, Y/N. But I told you, right? That you’re here to serve a greater purpose?” She breathed heavily, wincing at the heavy rock in her arms. Shaking your head, you still had no idea what she was going to do but it couldn’t be good. So you began thrashing in the back, trying hard to get your hands out of that rope while mumbling a string of no’s.
“You are here to make sure I get my revenge,” She said, making your eyes widen at her statement, “time to get to it.”
With that, you saw her place the rock on the accelerator, quickly shutting the door as she moved away before the van began to move. Your jaw dropped in horror, your eyes taking in the expanse of the sea that lay ahead of the cliff.
“No!” You screamed, moving your arms around wildly as blood seeped through the rope and painted your hands behind your back. And just as your hands freed themselves from the restraints, the wheels flew off the cliff, your eyes screaming in silence as the water came rushing to you from all ends.

“Ready for breakfast hm?” Joon Spoke softly head resting in the crook of your neck, blanketing you with his warm damp body. “Yeah I guess.” Butterflies still fluttering in your tummy from the activities you both just enjoyed. “Mm well I’m not trying for waffles today kitten I have to go to work, so think of something quick.” He yawned before taking the tender skin of your neck between his supple lips again, sucking you in nibbling playfully. “Joonie when will Mary be back, I like her breakfast.” Almost whining. He chucked against you, “I told you Mary will be back after she’s had her baby.”
Feeling pouty you huff no motivation to eat knowing he’ll be leaving you soon. yawing you simply shrugged away the idea of this mornings breakfast. “Cereal again hm? If you insist.” He groaned pulling his self up on his forearms, gazing down at your connected bodies, he glided out with ease sighing in pleasure. Leaving you feeling empty yet warmly stuffed full. “I’ll be back, you stay put.” He began to walk towards the closet, watching silently in admiration. “Wait!” Stopping he turned. “Panties?” You request, fully knowing he’d get them for you. “Panties...of course.” He swiftly turned pulling some from the drawer. You reached for them, softly swatting your hand he went to your legs. “Up.” Complying, you let him dress your bottom half. “Being needy this morning i see, need a shirt too?” You nodded, letting him dress you again. “Alright cereal coming right up babybug.” He gave you a sweet Eskimo kiss before leaving.
His heavy steps thumped the hardwood stars, getting softer and softer before they disappeared. Never could you have imagined a simple round of dates would land you here, wrapped in Eucalyptus sheets, in the middle of a giant bed, upstairs of a Manson. Getting loved daily by a man with millions to his name. Your face began to grow warmer of subtle humiliation as you felt your heat drip of him. This whole situation felt like a long, long fairytale dream and you were loving every minute of it. Your reminiscing was cut short by the thudding of Joon’s feet coming up the stairs, finally he renters a smile on his face dimples prominent. Obviously proud of his limited culinary skills.
“A sugary cereal for the sweetest person I know, and a fruit cup too.” He walked slowly with he bed table careful not to spill. “c’mon get up and eat.” You sat up wide eyed ready for the meal he set before you. “What do you say greedy girl?” He held you back from the simple breakfast. “Thank you Joonie.” He nodded in approval letting go. “Remember, drink your milk, clean up your mess...eat all your fruit.”
He walked to the bathroom letting you eat in peace. You obliged his orders enjoying your modest breakfast quickly. Soon though, you started swaying the rose gold spoon around in the matching bowl watching the bland cereal chase each other. You’d finished all the marshmallows, you knew Joon would protest. Finishing the milk you began to pluck your favorites from the small fruit bowl, growing bored rather quickly.
“Joonie!” You beckoned, cheek full of berries. “yeah!” He yelled over the heavy patter of the shower. “Can I watch TV?” Tightly you closed your eyes in wishful thinking. “No Princess, it’s too early you know that, don’t you?!” You huffed, swallowing your fruit. “Yes!” He didn’t respond expecting you to eat the rest if your breakfast, in your true fashion you ignored the kiwi and bland cereals uneaten in protest of no early morning TV.
Annoyingly you shifted uncomfortably along the plush mattress once again. The once comforting fullness you felt now just starting to make an unpleasant mess...“Joonie!” “Y/n!” He yelled back while exiting the bathroom, his body glistening the scent of his masculine body wash and cologne engulfing the room. “I need to shower, I’m making a mess.” You stated shyly, making him smile in laughter.
“A mess huh, why don’t you take care of it?” He asked knowingly making you pout, he walked closer picking up the clear bowl, kiwi left behind. “Ah, eat this.” He held the green fruit between his fingers. “Eat one at least.” He rubbed it along your parted lips, you obliged his glare making you feel small. “Do I have to start giving you my cereal seems your tummy is getting full on sweets before you make it to the real breakfast?” Teasing he took it upon himself to finish the cereals.
“What do you say?” “Sorry for not finishing.” no way could you disobey him. “Good,Tell me about this mess though.” He inquired placing a kiwi slice in his mouth, walking to his suit closet letting his towel fall, he was already clad in his briefs. “You know!” He chuckled “I do? Oh is it my cum baby?” He stated lewdly while pulling out a dark suit. “Joon c’mon!” You whined, moving the the table. “Well Y/n if you wanted my help you should’ve joined me in the shower, you spoiled little brat.” He began to get dressed, “go wipe, go shower, and I’ll have someone clean the sheets yeah?” You rolled from the warm bed, a breeze catching your wet spot. “Yeah.” He smoothed the suit out over him , choosing a belt. “C’mon, I’m going to work big girl panties y/n go clean up please.” You took your time to walk past him , secretly wanting him to stay. You hoped he’d feel bad if you played hurt, or incapable of washing up maybe he’d stay late to help.
With a sigh of disapproval he turned from watching you walk begrudgingly in the mirror, giving your bottom a firm tap. “Now please so I can see you before I go okay?” Nodding you did as told, your scheme unsuccessful you resorted to complying. Striping and folding your clothes before throwing them in the hamper. Pulling the body wash, hand picked by Joon you lathered and showered as throughly and quickly as you could. Examining the dark areas he’d left behind, your neck, legs, and stomach, even scattering some along your pelvic area. Namjoon was extremely through when putting his claim over you, not like he had any competition. “All day kitten?” He knocked lightly on the door. The time spent Wandering in your thoughts taking a little longer than Joon’s liking you followed routine rinsing and turning off the water, drying you left with the plush towel around you.
He sat on the edge of the bed, an outfit laid over his thigh. “All dry?” You nodded catching a slight shiver, “you sure?” He called you over with a finger, tenderly he unwrapped you taking it upon himself to make sure you were dried, helping dress you as well. “When do you have to go Joon?” “Now.” Sighing you fell into his chest for a hug. “Yeah yeah, c’mon I gotta go love.” He kissed your cheek. “Kiss me before I go.” You pulled out of the crook of his neck latching onto his lips. Grabbing your neck he took the lead invading your mouth lustfully with his own. “Still taste sweet hm, remember to brush your teeth, lunch at twelve, have a snack around four, I’ll be home for dinner...and do not open the door.” You nodded your hands still in his. “I have a friend downstairs okay anything you can’t take care of...and I don’t mean the little things...ask him okay?” “Okay.” You crawled into bed avoiding the soiled area.
He got up smoothing his suit over again. “Uhm Joonie-” “I know I know.” He threw the remote to you before leaving. “See you later my pretty girl, remember I’ll know if you’re naughty. ” You smile turning on the TV. “See you later.”
After tedious hours of watching, and flipping through channels you enviably you became extremely bored with the flashing pictures playing before you. The nap you’d gifted yourself earlier began to wear off, you were sure it’s already been two hours, nobody’s came for the sheets. Strange of the morning staff to forget that. Rolling your eyes, you brushed off their neglect sitting up from the bed striping the stained sheets.
As bored as you were, you didn’t mind the walk down to the wash room. Once you gained balance of the heavy load, the trek began, only able to peak over the large bundle the stairs were a challenge. Once conquered you repositioned the bundle in your arms beginning to weigh on you. “Hey I brought the sheets for you!” Too lazy to complete the mission at hand, you tossed the sheets on the nearest couch, throwing yourself in the seat next to them. “Hello?!” Nobody seemed to call back as you voice deflected off of the walls. No way would they leave you all alone.
You stood from your seat, leaving the laundry behind as curiosity got the best of you. Where had everyone gone? You could’ve sworn you heard Joon conversing with them before he left. Roaming past the kitchen, Joon’s left his cutting board and knife out fruit juice displayed across the marble surface. Nobodies been on their job, and to think of it you haven’t seen or heard Joon’s friend he’d left for you yet.
You hated being alone, and Joon knew that. He wouldn’t leave you that way. Meandering down the elongated hall, which located staff bedrooms leaving a firm knock on the door....nothing. Fear draped over you the silence becoming too loud, taking panicked strides leaving the hall. Wandering the house looking for any other life form. Until you met face to face with a forbidden room. Joon’s office. Throwing rules away you griped the stubborn knob. Locked damn. “Help.” Whimpering like a kicked puppy you kept searching. “Joonie.” Wandering around, like you were lost in your own house, you skipped down the small flight of stairs, the washroom maybe they’re in there ...a dumb thought but this is the only room you haven’t rampaged.
Swinging the fragile door, a pungent rusting scent crashed into you. “And who the fuck are you?” Frozen in the door frame your brain fell blank. A group of men you’d never met covered in drying blood. The staff and who seemed to be Jungkook, sat lifelessly bound by their legs and arms in chairs in a perfect line. “Where’d come from?” Unable to speak you stared into the glossed eyes of people you once called friends. “Where’d you fucking come from!” Your mouth dried nervously, unsure what to answer...“Bed-bedroom ups-stairs.” They shared a look with each other, the only visible feature being their eyes. “Well you see these dunces doll...they lied...you won’t do that huh?” You shook your head, “Jungkook...he doesn’t lie.” They all laughed in frenzy. “No but he sure does fight back, don’t do that either...c’mon over here princess.”
“Don’t call me that.” You stepped only one step closer, in fear of getting near the corpses. “Alright, heard...who are you?” Fiddling with your shirt you looked to your toes. “C’mon baby answer honestly or I’ll have to...sit you down.” You looked up, hot tears piercing your eyes begging to fall. “I’m y/n...Joon’s girlfriend.” Nodding in approval, someone in the back butted in. “He fuck you good?”You sniffled, looking back and forth between the few of them. “Don’t answer that, we don’t give a fuck about that....here’s the real test, where’s Namjoon hiding hmm?”
Oh, that’s easy, “Joon...he’s at work.” Scoffing in disbelief he reached behind him into his back pocket. “One more time cutie, where’s your little boyfriend.” Wide eyed your mouth quivered with no words. “I told you he’s at work.” He turned to his darkly dressed men “get a fucking chair, you y/n go sit in it.” You turned to run, a gun shot landed above you dry wall crumbling. “Sit your tight ass in that chair, or the next bullet will be buried in your chest.” Frozen in your tracks, you knew siting would land you right where Jungkook was. “Kim Namjoon is at work you won’t find him here!” Shaken you peered over your shoulder.
“Okay...okay, where does he work huh?” You turned back towards the stairs. “Uhm...I-I I’m not sure...big business I think, he has suits and a home office and people p-people follow him-” your rambling in cold sweat was cut short by the sound of bullets ricocheting along the cement walls. “Get out of the fucking way you dense bitch!” Unable to see your hero you rushed past him bolting away as quick as you could, blinded by tears. Eventually you fumbled into someone. “Hey hey y/n you hurt?” “JOONIE!” You climbed him his voice mesmerizing you. “Joonie it was disgusting, joonie please help.” The commotion still echoing in the wash room, Joon took his large hands over your ears guiding you upstairs into your shared room.
Finally silence to comfort you a wave of anger rushed over you as you processed your situation. Your ears pulsating. “Y/n...I’m so sorry princess.” All you could do was fall back onto the bare mattress. “Please do- who are they?” He sighed rubbing the back of his neck. “Business rivals.” He leans a leg on the maters caressing your thigh. “Joon don’t fucking lie I almost died.” He swatted your exposed tummy. “Hey don’t talk to me like that y/n.” Tears of anger replacing fear, “is this a game to you am I a damn toy to you...Joon I know you’re not telling me the truth and it hurts.”
He sat on the bed with an aggravated groan, you laid back staring at the smooth ceiling. “Y/n it’s best if you don’t know.” “Joon I’ll leave. Tonight i almost got my brai-” he darkly chuckled cutting you off “and to where, c’mon where?” You breathed deeply with anger. “I’ll- uhm...” “I’m the best thing that ever happened to you, face it you’d be fucked over without me.” You rolled over, you could scream your figure shook in frustration. “I’ve pulled you in and treated you like a queen and you want to leave because you had to dodge a bullet?” “Please stop, Joon I’m leaving.” You sat up only to be pushed down, “you’ll die without me bitch, there are eyes on you, you take one step out of my house your just as good bounty as me.” What bullshit has this motherfucker pulled you into.
“Plus I’ve had you here, dumbed you down so much you can’t even shower right, let alone live alone, I feed your ass, wipe your ass, clean your disgusting ass, dress you, protect you, service waiting on you every damn hour of the day...fuck you how you please never how I please and yet you wanna go?!” Tears spilled from you, he straddled you peering maliciously, never has Joon spoken to you this way.
In surprise the door swung open, making your stomach drop, Yoongi’s face speckled red. “Joon it’s Guk he’s dead.” “Get out.” His voice flat no emotion present Yoongi obliged slamming the door on his way. “You even got one of my men-” “no.” You earned a slap like no other for cutting him off “I’ve trained you so much better, so much better than to cut me off and to snitch on me...I was at work huh...they wouldn’t find me here huh?” You couldn’t respond, the left side of your face throbbing from the assault. “Once I caught word of the invasion I check the cameras for you and low and behold your mouth never fucking shut...saving yourself? Fucking cunt.” You looked away from his accusing gaze.
“No words? Just how I like you...now be a good girl, apologize.” “I love-e you joo-nie I’m sorry.” You recite from memory. “I love you too, don’t ever disobey me again, and don’t you dare try to leave if you do, I’ll blow the little brains you have let by myself.” Tears pooled your face causing him to smirk. “Remember I own you, everything you are, everything you want, everything you believe, is mine to keep.”

Request: hi!! can you do a drunk bts mafia reaction?
Notes: Like I’ve said before, I love Mafia requests.
Jin:
You knew that you should not have left Jin alone with his brothers for thirty minutes.
You knew that leaving his side so you can go and talk to Jisoo about girl stuff, leaving Jin unattended with his brothers, especially the maknae when there is alcohol involved was a no-go. But you did it anyways, so now you are here – dealing with a flirty Jin who has one too many drinks in his system.
“You’re so pretty,” Seokjin cooed, body weight leaning into yours as you walked him to the car. “But!” He announced loudly, shocking you. “I haves a girlfriend, ACTUALLY! A fiancée. So, my compliments need to stop. I-It’s just that you look so much like her, that it is uncanny.” He rambled. “You even have the same, comfy, soft boobs! Are you her doppelganger?” Seokjin asked with a curious voice – a voice that does not suit his mafia boss persona.
Laughing at his question, “No, Jinnie, I’m Y/N. The actual her.” Mouth dropping wide in astonishment, “No way! Baby!” He yelled, flying into you, sending the both of you to the ground. But even in his drunken state, his reflexes still worked, and he turned you guys around to where he took the beating of the ground while you fell onto his chest. “Ooo, I like this position,” he said cheekily, smiling up at you.
“Of course, you do, you drunk.” You chuckled, “Now, get up. We need to get your drunk ass home.”
Yoongi:
The sound of breaking glass was what caught your attention from the book you were reading. Closing the book, you put it aside to see if the sound would repeat again, which it did. The breaking glass was coming from above you, which is where your boyfriend’s office was. Standing up, you quietly, but quickly, made your way up the stairs, slowly hearing the curses and angry words coming from your boyfriends’ mouth. Once you got to the office door, you quietly knocked on the door, silencing all of the commotion on the other side of the door.
The door opened, showing the distressed man in front of you. Trying to hide his tears, he turned around and made his way over to his desk, silently telling you that you can come in.
“Yoongi, what’s wrong?” You asked softly, walking up behind him, putting a few feet between you guys.
“Nothing. Why do you ask?” He replied, being short with you.
Spotting the bottle of whisky on his desk, you connected the dots that he is stressed since whisky is his escape drink.
“Well,” you started off, “There’s broken glass on the floor from you throwing it, whisky on the desk, and you’re obviously crying. So, something is wrong.”
“Wow, why would you ask me since you apparently know what’s going on.” He snapped, turning around to look at you, eyes blank.
Taking a few steps back, you coiled in on yourself by his harshness. Realizing that he wants you to leave him alone, you respected his wishes. “I’ll leave you alone then. I just wanted to check up on you.” You bowed, turning around and leaving.
Before you could walk out the door, you felt a soft grip on your arm, pulling you back.
“Please don’t leave.” Yoongi asked, voice raspy. “I don’t want to be alone right now.”
Not saying anything, you pulled your boyfriend into a hug. Your actions caused your boyfriend to breakdown, shocking you at the sight. The most dangerous man in the underworld, the one who scares the law itself, was falling apart in your arms for a reason you do not know.
Hoseok:
“And a BOOP!”
Trying to stay calm, you watched the finger – for the twentieth time – come in contact with your nose. Your eyebrow twitched from irritation. Surprisingly you were keeping your composure really well. You were not blowing up on your boyfriend yet.
But the thing that you do not get is how the man who can kill a person with a smile on his face, not even flinching, can act so childish and love messing with your nose whenever he is drunk.
It is like trying to figure out how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll.
“Your nose is so cute!” Hoseok squealed, face moving close to you, breaking your personal bubble boundary, “It has a little arch to it!” He added, a squeal evident in his tone.
That was a new one, you concluded.
“Can I run my finger over your nose?” He asked, voice innocent.
Releasing a sigh, a sigh that seemed to be very offensive that Hoseok took to heart. “Are you mad at me?” He sniffled, looking away to hide his face.
“No, Hobi.” You reassured softly, “I’m just getting a little irritated, but I am not mad at you, I promise.”
Sniffles growing louder, you realized that you messed up.
“I’M ANNOYING YOU?!”
Fuck.
Before you could say anything else, your body was met with the couch while your boyfriends body was thrown on top of yours. ‘I’m sorries’ were spewing out of his mouth rapidly, body shaking from the sobs racking over his body.
“Yes! You can run your finger over my nose.” You said, hoping it will calm him down.
As if a light switch was turned off, your boyfriend immediately stopped crying, a huge smile gracing his face. “Yay! Thank you!” His finger running over your nose, face morphed into a concentrated look.
Namjoon:
When you walked into your home, your sense of smell was met with alcohol – mainly whiskey and cigars.
“Oh no,” you whispered to yourself, preparing yourself for what was possibly going to happen.
Namjoon is drunk by now, and this only happens when he is overly stressed, or in need of an outlet for his anger. So, a drunk Namjoon equals an angry drunk Namjoon. You have only seen this side of him just once, and it was not pretty.
You did not speak to Namjoon for a week because of it.
He promised you he would not seek comfort from alcohol ever again – but he broke his promise.
Walking into the living room, you found your boyfriend sitting in the single sofa chair, the top three buttons of his dress shirt undone, showing the caramel skin of his chest. But his beautiful sight was ruined when you saw the whiskey bottle sitting on the side table with the cigar on the ash tray, and a glass of whiskey in his ring clad hand.
“I am surprised you have not started yelling yet,” Namjoon mocked, interrupting your train of thought. “Last time I drank, you freaked out on me.”
Taken aback by his words, “I didn’t freak out on you? Plus, I am not going to now. I am curious on why you are drinking, whiskey especially.”
“Oh, so am I not allowed to drink certain alcoholic drinks?” He asked, sarcasm and mockery laced in his words. “Wow, you’re more controlling than I thought.”
You could feel your heart break at his words, eyes stinging from the tears that are wanting to spill. “Wow. Um, okay.” You said, not knowing what words to use. You were beating yourself up mentally from how weak you are and your inability to stand up for yourself. So, choosing the cowardly way out, you turned around and made your way to the guess room that was in your house, locking the door and hiding yourself in there.
Jimin:
Sitting at the booth in the bar, you listened to your best friend Yoonji vent about her and Namjoon’s relationship.
Tonight, was club night with the boys.
Having a boyfriend who is a mafia boss that owns his own private club was awesome, especially during parties. Not having to pay and wait in line was awesome, drinks and food was free, and the best of all – sitting in the VIP section away from the drunk people.
“I just wish that he would make more time for me,” Yoonji stressed, eyes tearing up. “I feel so alone sometimes…” She trailed off, taking a gulp from his glass.
A frown was on your face, watching your friend cry was one of the worst things ever. Before you could add your opinion in, you felt a body that was all too familiar fall on top of you. A pair of lips attached theirs to yours, shocking you from the abruptness.
“My Love!” Your boyfriend announced, a drunken grin of his face, cheeks tinted red from the alcohol he has been drinking. “I have missed you so MUCH!” He stated, lips now turned downwards.
“I’ve missed you too, Jiminie.” You replied back, honesty laced in your words. “But, I’m talking with Yoonji here,” you motioned towards your friend, your boyfriends head whipping around quickly to look at her.
“Ooops! I’m sorry Yoonji!” He apologized truthfully, head turning back towards you. “Is it okay if I lay my head on your lap while you talk with Yoonji? My head hurts, and I PROMISE! I won’t speak of anything that you guys say to Namjoon!” He promised, sticking his pinky in the air towards you.
“Wait, what?” Yoonji asked in shock. “How do you know we are talking about Namjoon?”
“Cause silly! You just admitted to it,” Jimin giggled, already making himself comfortable on your lap. “Plus, the both of you came in upset, so it’s kinda obvious that you two are arguing.”
And that was the last thing your boyfriend said before he was lulled into a deep sleep.
Looking up at Yoonji, you gave her an apologetic smile. “Jimin’s extra blunt when he’s drunk?”
Taehyung:
As you conversed with your boyfriend’s gang members girlfriends, you could feel the heavy stare on your back from your boyfriend. You knew that you looked hot – thanks to the constant compliments and love that your boyfriend gives you everyday has helped with your self love. Wearing a sexy, but appropriate dress to the ball that was thrown by an ally mafia gang was a good idea because it was messing with your boyfriend. You knew the little things that riled up your boyfriend of three years – and this dress was one of them; especially when he had alcohol in his system.
“Um, Y/N?” Madison, Jungkook’s girlfriend of seven months spoke, catching your attention.
“Hm?”
“Taehyung is I think glaring at you,” She said nervously.
Smiling at her innocence, “Oh, is he?” You asked, turning around to look at your boyfriend who just finished downing his glass of wine. When the two of you made eye contact you gave him a gentle smile and he winked at you. You could see that he has had a lot to drink due to the flush of his cheek and aura that he was giving off.
“He literally has been undressing you with his eyes all night.” Suri commented, bringing a blush to your cheeks from her bluntness.
“And you are right,” Taehyung admitted, surprising you from his sudden appearance. His strong arms wrapped around you, pulling you into his chest, head ducking down to nuzzle into your neck. His breath smelt like alcohol and cigarettes as he pressed kisses to you neck. “You’ve looked so beautiful all night that I got turned on.”
“You’ve smoked a cigarette?!” You yelled, shocking the girls and Taehyung.
“What? No, baby—”
“Do not ‘baby’ me,” your voice came out deadly. “You told me you quit!” You accused, glaring at your boyfriend who looked scare, something that you will later laugh at since he is the biggest mafia boss in the world.
“I did. I just had two with Jackson and Namjoon!”
Not wanting to make a bigger scene, you walked away with a nervous and apologetic Taehyung.
“He’s totally not getting anything tonight,” Suri chuckled into his cup of wine.
“$20 he is,” Jisoo, Jimin’s friend had bet.
“You’re so on.”
Jungkook:
“Ugh, another fucking voicemail,” Jungkook grumbled drunkenly. “Y/N, this is my hundredth voicemail, when will you answer? Please answer. I’m sorry that I snapped and scared you. I know that I acted out irrationally during the argument. You’re right, I am childish and short tempered, but that doesn’t give me the excuse to say what I said and act how I acted. Wait? Did I say that right? hopefully because I want to make this right with you. I love you, Y/N, and I know that I have a suckish way of showing it, but I do. You’re the light in the darkness that I live in. never would I have thought of meeting you, meeting love in this Mafia world. I just want, need, you back, baby. Please come back to me,” Jungkook stopped, the sobs taking over him. The scary realization of losing you might be coming true. “Please give me one more chance to make this right.”
And with that, he hung up.
On the other side of the city, you listened to the voicemail that Jungkook had sent to you, tears streaming down your face and blurring your vision, your mind already being made up. Putting on a bra and shoes, you grabbed your purse and made your way to Jungkook’s mansion. When you pulled up, you were met with Phil and Leo at the gate. The two guards gave you smile, relief filling their eyes.
Walking into the mansion, you were met with a disastrous living room that had glass and frames on the carpet. A sigh escaped your lips as you realized that you had of fixing up to do.
“I am this drunk that I am imagining you standing right in front of me?” Jungkook asked, scaring your soul out of your body it felt like.
“It’s actually me, Kook.” You giggled, eyes tearing up at the relieved look in Jungkook’s eyes.
One minute his was on the stairs and the next he was squeezing you into his chest.
“You’re back,” he croaked. “Thank God, you’re back to me.”
Summary: “No I’m a surprise,” you say sounding all sassy and smiling where your cheeks fluff up and you look like a pufferfish and it always gets Namjoon. His eyes are crescents, dimples peeking from his cheeks.
“What would they say if they saw the big bad Kim Namjoon like this?” you ask raising your brow not as good as Namjoon but it gets the job done.

Namjoon hates parties. Sure he’s the CEO, of one of the biggest crime syndicates in the world, the biggest and most feared in South Korea so he could have sent his associates or one of his brothers to attend this party but he was there for a very specific reason. Y O U.
With a frontal name of BigHit Inc., run by the most fearsome mafia BTS behind it, the most fierce crime lords and not by the old fashioned guns and murders way well, that sometimes yes, but mostly financial crimes, stealing money and intellectual property theft done so well they’ve been thriving the last few decades when their fathers, mafia bosses, seven families joined hands together to be sworn allies promising to take down and gain power over the corrupt government. Now run by their sons seven men, most of them educated in Ivy League schools. 5 of them even hold dual degrees, their leader Kim Namjoon or RM even holds a fucking Ph.D. A born genius, his IQ only amplifying his true potential. His members' capabilities, work ethic complimenting the jobs they pull off together as a team. This team was perfect and solid in all ways made to rule. As if fate had brought them together.
The party was boring as usual. All of the crime lords and mafia bosses with their families were here. It reminded Namjoon of the party, similar to this where he first laid his eyes on you. His gaze traveling from the bar section of the huge ballroom towards you at the opposite end where you were forced to make small talk. You stared back at him with the same intensity. Your eyes catching his gaze, latching onto his dragon eyes drowning in those dark orbs that stared at you. You weren’t afraid, not even intimated. No sign of a blush. You weren’t swooning like those other girls. You simply stared back at him equally fierce taking his presence in. Your own doe-like eyes even if not as sharp as his, held enough power to not only draw the attention of the most powerful, eligible bachelor, most feared CEO of an empire himself but also spark something in him. And ever since then your life and these parties have been different. You solely come here to see him. And the same for him. To see you.
What Namjoon and you shared was special. With your family owning amalgamation of big companies, reputable among the mafia bosses and crews it came with lots of curfews for you the heiress to your father. You were an asset. One that would be traded someday. To a man that would be chosen for you, based on his family, money and what value he can derive for your father and his business. And you shall be his dutiful wife, produce an heir and then wait for death inside some mansion. This was your fear. You were disgusted whenever any thoughts of how your future would be like crossed your mind. Amidst all the chaos, uncertainty and lack of control in your own life, you met Namjoon, your Joon. The man changed your entire perspective on love, intimacy and boy he had you pining for him even yearning. But what you didn’t realize is he was yours since he saw you for the first time two months ago.
Namjoon’s at his usual spot. By the bar. Waiting for you. With a drink in his hand. There was no way he could take you on dates given your family. The curfews. And that bullshit about what girls and women can and cannot do. He hated the way women were treated. He was lucky that his father was not as stupid as the others. He made sure that his sister was sent away to Switzerland to study, and live her life the way she wants to like any normal girl. And she was happy and so was his mother who lived in Japan with her own small business, even enjoying life. He hoped one day he can go away somewhere with you. Away from all this. Take you on dates. Hold your hand while he walks next to you. Kiss your cheeks whenever he wanted to. Make you giggle with all the cheesy compliments and then make out till his heart's content. Right now he had to settle for stealing glances in between. Carefully brushing his hand whenever he walked near you. This is all the affection or physical contact he’d get. On a good day, when people at the party would be preoccupied with taking some political party member down or something like that Namjoon would sneak you out to the roof, or to the parking lot inside his car to steal kisses. Heated kisses. Passionate kisses. One where he’d drag your soft lips between his teeth just to hear that moan. Running his hands all over your body while you clutched his torso, held on to his pecs and squeezed his biceps for dear life gasping for air. His plump lips swollen, his shirt buttons open, neck and collarbones littered with hickeys and marks you’d leave every time you had one of your little adventures. Namjoon would give anything to mark you just one small hickey but he couldn’t and he won’t risk your family finding you out. You have stylists and beauty consultants that will scan every inch of your body and he couldn’t afford to get you in trouble. So he holds back and tells himself that he’ll wait for the day, that one day you’ll be his.
All these thoughts suddenly clouding his mind made him feel so empty his forehead sweaty. He decided to step out to the balcony a little disappointed that he’s not seen you yet. He made sure your family was invited. He knows you’ll be there with them as your parents like to show you off like some diamond jewelry piece or an ornament they possess. The thought of you being married to someone else makes Namjoon’s blood boil. And even at these parties the way the other men scan your body, while you’re in your tight-fitting dresses draping your body perfectly makes him want to take his gun out and shoot them all. He looks over to the night sky sighing and drinking his third glass of scotch. Namjoon suddenly feels a pair of hands right above his navel and he’s ready to smack that person but he hears your voice and jolts instead trying to turn.
“Boo!”
“Were you supposed to meet me here?” Namjoon asks with a grin, lifting a brow as if he didn’t just get scared and pulls your wrist around his waist towards his back so he can hug you.
“No I’m a surprise,” you say sounding all sassy and smiling where your cheeks fluff up and you look like a pufferfish and it always gets Namjoon. His eyes are crescents, dimples peeking from his cheeks.
“What would they say if they saw the big bad Kim Namjoon like this?” you ask raising your brow not as good as Namjoon but it gets the job done.
“If I didn’t hear your voice, but only felt hands and if it weren’t you, they’d be dead princess” he responds voice deep and low holding that timber, his the last four words whispered into your ear. His breath making you feel ticklish so you giggle. He looks around to check if any eyes were on him and then, quickly pulls you into a hug. You smell divine as usual. Namjoon dips lower and places his chin near your neck. He loves it. The smell of your perfume, your shampoo combined with your own sweet natural scent. Makes him feel like some kind of animal, primal instincts kicking in and he knows if he keeps his head there he’s a goner. But what he feels now is different than usual. Your body is warmer to his touch. He’s used to how you normally feel. And right now you feel warm, your skin hot when he slots his fingers on your forehead brushing your hair to the side.
“Looks like you’re running a fever are you okay princess?” he asks his voice suddenly all serious, brows furrowed his gaze boring to where his hands meet your skin.
You want to say that you’re okay, but you’re not. You feel sore everywhere. Your legs hurt from wearing heels. Your dress is too tight and you’re hating the way it feels all over your body. It’s making you feel uncomfortable. The material just feeling torturous against your feverish skin. You haven’t had proper meals because your family starved you so don’t look bloated for today’s event. They wouldn’t even feed you when you were sick. You threw up twice but they still made you come here. You need an IV probably. You thought you’d text Namjoon but since they were going to make you attend this party anyways might as well be here and get some serotonin from seeing him. You were always trained to say you’re okay. Making yourself seem strong. Your needs were never to be put first. But right now the way Namjoon looks at you, with so much care and concern makes your heart ache so you give in, tell him and you just want to sit down because you don’t know when your dizziness will be back. You want to cry because you’re so annoyed and irritated your brain a mess.
“No” you squeak out. You eyes now glossy and Namjoon’s heart just breaks at that. Only after a few seconds does he realize how your face gives away the exhaustion after he looked at it a little longer. The bags under your eyes can be seen. Even if the concealer did a good job of hiding the dark circles Namjoon can see how truly tired and exhausted you must be feeling. Your cheeks more hollow. Your posture barely making you stand straight or still. Fidgety. Weak. You lean into his arms. Your forehead meets his shoulder. His black blazer feels so soft. You sigh. you want to just stay there. Namjoon carefully pulls you off him while he cups your cheek and tells you that you both should move somewhere more private. You nod and sneak out of the room. Thankfully the party today was at a hotel, one of Seoul’s biggest and Namjoon makes some calls while you’re walking his hands securing you by his side while you make your way out. Namjoon notices how it’s hard for you to match his stride today. Even though the man is 70% legs you usually keep up with him by walking faster or leaping. But today you’re barely able to keep up with his slowest smallest strides. You walk for what feels like an hour but it’s just been two minutes. You’re back at the reception lobby and you see someone guide you and Namjoon to the elevator. The next thing you know you’re in a hotel room.
Namjoon leads you towards the bed once you’re in the room and the door is locked. A few seconds later you hear rustling and you know they’re the guards placed outside the door for security. You sit on the bed your legs finally catching a break from carrying you and the stupid dress around with those stupid heels. You loved wearing heels but not today sis. In your hazy state you try to pull them off only that you forgot to remove the strap first through the small metal buckle. The dress making it a struggle to bend over and reach for the straps. Namjoon sees your struggle and can’t help but let out a small giggle. You look up at him with those doe eyes, confused and there it goes his heart sinks again. He makes way his towards you, leans down on both his knees. He gently takes your right foot into his palm and with the other hand makes quick work to get you out of your heels. Within seconds he was able to accomplish what you were trying so hard to do. And with one of your problems gone, you just fall back onto the plush bed all grace forgotten. Once the head hits the soft cloud-like mattress you let out a sigh of happiness and then a groan. Your feet are still hanging downwards to the floor, your back was on the bed arched so you can rest your head down. But more comfortable than standing or walking right now but you’ll take it. Too tired to move you give up fatigue finally settling in.
“Move up sweetheart you’ll hurt your back” you hear Namjoon say but you have no energy. You don’t even respond sleep already taking over you. Especially now that you were safe, away from those eyes, your parents probably thought you’ll be talking to some guy impressing someone but little did they know you’d be here a few floors above the party with Joon. You don’t know what to call your little arrangement or these little sneaking out sessions are. You don’t know what Namjoon is to you. The two of you haven’t talked about it. It’s weird because you’ve talked about fate, why Namjoon hates seafood and how much you love the rain, the fraud patterns in his business but never about what Namjoon is to you. Not that you need a label, and not that maybe calling him your boyfriend would be a label like that, you’d actually like it. All you know is Namjoon likes you, for sure I mean he wouldn’t be kissing you like a starved man, you shoving your tongue down his throat or else. You know you love him but you don’t know if he loves you yet. It’s too much to ask for. Given the circumstances. You’re just glad you found him. And whatever moments you’ll get to share you’ll cherish them now and forever. You start thinking about all these moments while sleep pulled you in completely and you don’t hear Namjoon call your name again. You don’t hear him trying to wake you up. You don’t feel his hands cupping your cheek. You sure as hell don’t even feel his lips peck yours which is the first time in a while now. You don’t feel him undo some buttons and zips to get you off that dress. You don’t even feel the way he tucks you in.
All you now know is you wake up in a blanket nest. Soft blankets against your cheek, your hands, your legs. You sigh at this feeling smiling to yourself. You’re moving and stretching. Feeling like a new person. You’re fully awake now even though you haven’t opened your eyes and that’s when you hear him
“Can you hear me now sleepy head?”
you know he’s only teasing you but you pout before opening your eyes to see him at the other side of the room with an amused smile.
“New person who dis” you reply only making him laugh. Namjoon’s shirtless. He’s wearing his dress pants, his blazer hung at the corner neatly next to your dress. And that’s when you realize you’re wearing his shirt while you napped.
“What time is it” you ask yawning. and when Namjoon says you register you’ve napped for three full hours. He makes his way towards you. He slowly climbs on the bed stretching his arm out for you and you waste no time in jumping to his embrace with your new-found energy. Namjoons smiling at that. He can never get used to how perfectly you fit against him. He’s the one sighing in comfort now. Sometimes Namjoon can’t tell if you know that he loves you or not. The way you make him feel. The way you make him crave your heart.
You peek up from his shoulder to look at him, his eyes never leaving you.
“Hi” you whisper smiling at him
“Hii” he replies back matching your hushed tone dimples on display and you can’t help but poke them. From here you can see how versatile Namjoon is. His expressions outside the usual are deadly. His sharp dragon eyes, jutted jaw, furrowed brows he looks dangerous and lethal. But now all you see is a soft dimpled giant with the cutest button nose and crescent eyes. His eyes hold so much warmth.
He gently cards fingers through your hair asking if your feeling better to which you nod. You reach up to peck his lips. And once you slot your lips onto his plush and soft ones you want more. You move your hand to the back of his head lightly carding your fingers through his hair spurring him on. Namjoon takes this incentive and slots his lips back to yours. You look so damn good in his shirt and now his mind is going crazy. Thoughts racing. He tilts your head so he can angle himself better. Little sucks and swipes of his tongue against your lips and mouth have your knees weak. He knows how to claim his jackpot already knows what makes you react and what you like. One hand reached down to knead your ass. You moan against his mouth breathless as you take him in. Lips swollen, luscious and glossy. Your eyes are unrelenting. And he decided it is at this moment, he has to tell you. He fears the worst will happen. That you’ll say no. And he might never get to see you again. Ever. But the way your body molds in his arms, the way you only always react to him, the way you make his heart always beat faster.
“Y/N I really re-really like you” there it was. That slight stutter. To Namjoon each second felt like a minute now but your eyes become wide and yoU smile a million-watt smile a second later. His hopes are back up. A warm feeling in his chest. Like a lightbulb inside him was lit. You can see him glowing. Now that the weight of his worries is halved. You cup his cheeks. And he thaws in your affection.
“I like you too Joon” you say voice barely above a whisper. You feel like a teenager confessing to her crush. You cheeks are painted red and Namjoon hasn’t seen a beautiful sight before. And now it’s actually your turn to get something off your chest.
“Heck I might even love you Kim Namjoon what are you doing to me” you say before you can think more and it has Namjoon visibly gasping and he pulls you in for another kiss. This time softer. Truly holding you against him. The way you belong to him. And the way he belongs to you. No more unsaid words. No more doubts.
“fuck baby girl be mine I love you too” he whispers inbetween kisses. You want to say something back but his lips are back on yours, molding them, tongue exploring. Leaving kisses at the corner of your mouth. On your chin. Your jaw. Slowly making its way down to your neck. You’re already so far gone you’re a whiny mess. Your body jolting backwards each time his lips touch the skin on your neck. fuck, you were so sensitive and that had his mind filled with filth. Moans dripping when he sucks and licks so gently. Your hand on his pecs, gripping his biceps or at the nape of his neck. Gentle touches, gets him so riled up and you know it. Moments with you like this lets him break his facade. Dive into his desires.
“So sensitive for me” Namjoon mutters to himself continuing his ministrations. One hand at the back supporting you, holding you strong. Another rubbing circles at your stomach for a few seconds, then holding you by the shoulder the next few seconds or groping your breasts softly making you whimper and suck in breaths.
Only when he slips his hand under his shirt on you does he realize the added warmth to your skin is from your fever reminding him of exhausted state and whatever you have going on will only make it worse if you don’t get to rest. Namjoon feels how flaccid and sunken your tummy feels. Not the way it usually does. He can easily notice all the inches you’ve lost. And suddenly there’s a change of energy.
“Those assholes, fuck princess let me take care of you” he says letting you go. His eyes have already changed. The hurt and anger you could see in them made a shiver run up your spine. You can never get used to his eyes. The anger he is actually capable of. He’s always so kind, gentle and sweet to you but that’s just one side. Within minutes there’s food at your room. Everything that you like is here. Gimbap but with extra cheese. Kimchi-jigae with egg-fried rice rather than normal rice because you like it that way and even some dessert. This man really put in everything he knew about you. You looked at him with so much adoration it only made his face turn red while he looked down and scratched the back of his head. Kim Namjoon was shy right now all dimples and smiling. You giggled and pulled him towards you so the two of you can enjoy this meal. You don’t know when your phone will start blowing up. You don’t know when you’ll have to leave, go away from Joon, his warmth, his comfort and his solace. So you take in this moment with everything it has to offer. Grateful that even the few minutes you spent awake with this man made you feel loved to the extent where you're always at a loss of words.
