"tim, no" seems to be a common phrase i think to myself while listening to tma and i'm all for it
TIM
TIM JON DOESNT DO THAT 💔
Tell me why i only just discovered that both my university and my church were designed by one of Smirke's pupils, Gilbert Scott. Like he has a whole episode about him, mag50, and i did not know until my friend whose listening to tma for the first time atm told me.
oh i fucking love it when i find out about another little tma connection
like the tube Karolina Górka boards in mag 71 at st pancras station, george glibert scott (mag 50) worked on that station !! i'm not sure if its intentional or not but he did receive tutoring from robert smirke !!
MAG 63 “The End of the Tunnel” review:
Robert Smirke! I recognize the name! That’s a complete lie! I don’t at all! But sims mentions of evil buildings does remind me of other statements. Perhaps MAG 50, but I’m more inclined to think he’s talking about MAG 35.
The issue is, there’s a chance Robert hasn’t even been mentioned at all. The fist time Sims mentioned Jurgen Fucking Leitner was in MAG 4 and it was with a similar style of “oh great, THIS guy again.” Which means there are bound to be more Smirke related incidents ahead.
This was a good and spooky episode! Shadow monsters that killed yoy through your shadow, or invisible monsters that are naked to the human eye in all but shadow? Either way that moment of them just waiting in the dark as more and more breaths could be heard was great. Real scary!
I’ll rate this episode a 7 failing flashlights out of 10 decapitations, would be gaslit again.
Statement ends.
is...the architect Robert Smirke...a reccurring character in the magnus archives???
I have a theory about protocol that is based very arbitrarily on the joke I'm about to make, but it would be hilarious if it actually came true.
For your consideration:

Protocol: Computer eats man
Archives: Building eats man
