MAG 104: Sneak Preview

oh boy we're really in it now, aren't we? Tim's story is so tragic and Elias is (as per usual) an absolute BITCH for not letting Tim get involved.

I really wonder why Tim's statement is so much more coherent than the ones in episode 100, are the spooky eye powers working again now that Jon isnt in captivity but far away? we've seen Jon getting more powerful, especially over the last few episodes so is it that? is it Martin, somehow, is Elias doing something, is did Tim just really need to get this off his chest?

I'll never get over how much happier Tim used to be, he kinda stopped trying to figure out what happened with the circus (which was probably better) and then he started in the archives and it all came up again. Maybe if Sasha was still around or if Jon, Martin AND Tim would get along better in season three everything could have been different.

i've said before "if only Jon had trusted his assistants" yeah and if only Tim had a support system. the tragedy is that it could have been prevented if only the characters had acted differently but every part of their lives lead them to acting this way. (maybe i dont need to worry that much about my literature exam, i seem to have absorbed a lot of the Drama and Tragedies lecture lmao)

*edit: the PARALELLS between Jon and Tim feeling guilty / like cowards for not being able to save someone...

(this also made me wonder what made Sasha work in the institute, she didn't seem like the type pf person who'd be that much into ghosts and stuff... there's so much about her that we never got to know :((((( )

I wish I could tell you I've listened to MAG104 a normal amount but that would be a lie. Nothing breaks my heart more than his statement.

cannot believe The Magnus Archives goes from "Jon gets kidnapped and is missing for a MONTH" and "the statement of Michael and his death/replacement"

to "Man Marries Beetle" and "Monster Pig"

followed by "Tim recounting the trauma of his missing brother and thus the downward spiral of his life in general"

all in the space of six episodes
