Hi all! Today I’m gonna share a really short dungeon called Magtheridon’s Lair. It’s actually just one wing of the Hellfire Citadel dungeons and it’s located at the very base of the Citadel located in the Hellfire Peninsula (Outland). I did this one on 25-player Heroic with my 101 Druid night elf on 01 October 2016. There is a portal in Stormwind that takes you right to the Dark Portal east of the Citadel.

Time: Literally the fastest dungeon ever. Less than 2 minutes. There’re only a few NPCs besides the boss, Magtheridon.

Gold: 41 Gold profit

Loot: Decent dungeon for gems. You get a Black Sack of Gems from Magtheridon after you gank him. I got: 1 Crimson Spinel, 1 Pyrestone, 1 Lionseye, 1 Talasite, 1 Living Ruby. Also! You always get a Pit Lord’s Satchel, a 20 slot bag from Mag (unfortunately it’s soulbound though). The last item you loot is Magtheridon’s Head which starts a quest that ends just southwest of the Citadel in Honor Hold.

Overall: This is a dungeon I do every week. Super quick way to get a few cool gems. If you have any other experiences with this dungeon or if you have a question, feel free to submit it to the blog or send me a message :) Thanks for reading!

Just lead a really good invasion group with some super nice people!! Gotta love when the community actually comes together and completes something. (Even if it is to just get levels in and gear)
