it's been a while since you and marius had actually gotten some quality time together.
with the two of you busy with your respective jobs, it gets harder to see each other. but on some rare occasions, you two manage to at least get a few hours alone. though the only way you do manage to get more than two hours of company is when you stay at each other's residences.
it was yet another night of him staying over. and when the sun rised again, you decided to get up.
until of course, marius just had to pull you back into his embrace before grumbling something incoherent. you sighed at him, nudging him a bit to wake him up, "marius, it's morning already. i still have work."
"it's the weekend, since when do you work on a saturday?" he said, the obvious tone of sleepiness visible in his words. but though, it was saturday? if you recalled correctly, it was supposed to be friday. but soon you do realize that it was indeed saturday when you saw the date on your phone.
still in stuck in his embrace, you tried to escape since you had thought that he went back to sleep again - but he pulled you closer to him and tightened his grip (though it wasn't that tight so you could escape if you really want to).
with another sigh, you decided to give into him once again. it's been a while since you two cuddled like this anyways, it wouldn't be that bad to waste a weekend just like this, right?
what if... Kaeya had a diamond (like Albedo) on him somewhere, and when he’s close to Albedo it starts to glow a bit, and sometimes the glow pulses with his heartbeat 😳😳 nobody knows this but Diluc (and Mr.Crepus) and the maids, so Diluc notices the glow and teases him for it

ooh B it is drabble time, my friend!

"It's showing."
Diluc's voice snaps the captain from his thoughts. He had come to Angel's Share in hopes of spending some time with good drinks and his thoughts, only to be surprised to see Albedo was there, as well. Kaeya recently finds himself thinking about the head alchemist more than he ever thought he would. He didn't quite know what it was yet, but he was hopelessly attracted to the blonde.
His gaze slides over to Diluc almost regrettably, and his head tilts while he circles a finger around the rim of his glass. "What's showing?"
Diluc rolls his eyes and taps a couple times on his own chest, and Kaeya hurries to adjust his shirt.
Only Diluc and Crepus had ever known about the odd birthmark Kaeya has, found just below his chest. It always seemed to glow when he was younger, but with age, it dulled. Now, it pulsed with light when he saw something he liked. Or, in this case, someone.
"I told you wearing such low shirts was a horrible idea if you wanted to hide it." The bartender says, flicking Kaeya's forehead to get his attention.
Kaeya rubs the soreness away and huffs. "I have to show off my assets somehow, Dilly."
"Never call me that again."
Their playful bickering is interrupted by Albedo coming up and clearing his throat. Diluc grabs a small towel from behind the counter and begins to wipe the bar top with it, slowly inching away as the alchemist sits next to Kaeya. He knows Albedo drinks rarely, and he knows better than to stick around when Kaeya has his sights set on someone. Even if Kaeya doesn't know it yet.
Albedo sets his sketchbook down and the captain takes note of the large sketch of the bar, complete with where each patron is sitting and down to small details like flowers and cracked floorboards. He lets out a whistle and Albedo resists the urge to shush him.
"Nice work, as always." Kaeya's voice is smooth as he talks, and he feels his heart skip a beat at the way the alchemist begins to avoid eye contact.
"That's not why I'm here to talk with you."
"Then what is it?"
"I noticed when I was trying to sketch you," Albedo starts softly, almost like he was trying to whisper without being drowned out by the noise of the tavern. His fingers press to the bottom of the cutout of Kaeya's shirt, and the captain goes tense. "You have a strange glow here. What is it?"
"My vision." Kaeya lies immediately. He feels guilty deep down, but he doesn't want to let his odd quirk be known. Even if he feels Albedo of all people would understand.
Ice blue eyes flick from tan skin to thin hips, over and over again, before the alchemist hums. He takes his sketchbook under his arm and stands to leave, but gives Kaeya one last glance before he does. "If you ever want to speak about your 'vision', you know where to find me."
With that, the bell above the door chimes with his exit, and Kaeya lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding. He looks down as his hand presses to where Albedo's was. He wonders distantly if higher shirts may be a good investment before a sharp cough cuts through his thoughts.
Looking up, Diluc stands with his arms crossed, scarlet eyes narrowed and nearly glowing with suppressed irritation. The captain lets out a nervous laugh and picks up his glass, taking a sip, avoiding eye contact.
