2016
AKA the literal gateway to hell
This used to be so much fun, I heard it was a way to drive away the bad spirits/mojo of the previous year and start the new year off right. I think for sure we doubley need to do this. So at midnight, go outside, bang the pots and pans and yell loudly to make sure 2017 is much much better!!!!
What Are You Going To Do To Make 2017 Better?
I’m going to try and do more charity work and help out in the community more. Reply or reblog with what you’re going to do to help make 2017 better.

last day of 2016 you can take trump with you as a grand finale for the year
2016 - let's remember the good times
I know this year has been pretty bad for near enough everyone in some way or another. But I have been thinking, maybe we should think about the good times we’ve had too and share those times with each other, I know it won’t make up for everything and it’ll be more individual pleasures rather than the shared pain. But I think it will help go into 2017 on a positive rather than come out of 2016 negatively.
So mine was Valentine’s Day, 2016 has been the best Valentine’s Day so far for me actually. So after some gift giving in the morning, my girlfriend told me she’d planned for us to go to Birmingham, we first stopped off at forbidden planet and she treated me to some Deadpool comics. After that we had a lovely meal at Five Guys (and a cheeky Krispy Kreme for desert) we hopped on a bus to go bowling (I’d been thinking about going, mainly because I watched The Big Lebowski quite a lot, which is a movie my girlfriend can’t stand, that makes it even more special that she’d plan it. Just as a side note). So we had a couple games, both of which we played badly, but still had a great time. After that she took me see Deadpool in the IMAX and we both loved it, much more romantic that 50 shades bullshit the year before (you can read my thoughts on that film further down my blog). Anyhoo while we were there we also were also able to plan our next date night, which is another positive day of 2016.
Please share your stories, we could all use some happy memories
