Pairing: Bellatrix x female!reader
You truly believed that you and Bellatrix had something.
What happened was that after you had come out and told her that you were a muggle born, she immediately began distancing herself from you, isolating herself, eventually throwing you out of her life and wanting nothing more to do with you; even with you showing your face around her. It shattered your heart because of the unconditional love you had for her and she no longer wanted you. The relationship was kept a secret because you were a student, attending Hogwarts with the trio.
At this point, you were pretty damn sure that you wouldn’t see her again until you were captured with the trio and had been taken to Malfoy Manor. She seemed to have been just as shocked as you were when you saw each other for the first time in a while. You would soon find out what’s in store for you the longer you stayed, and you had no idea why they had dragged all of you there. The first thing Bella did was confiscate wands before sending Harry, Ron, Hermoine to the dungeons as she had thought because of your past, you would give her the information she had wanted without having to deal with the consequences. Deep down, she regretted pushing you away just because you were being honest with her on who you were.
But she was wrong. Not because you weren’t going to give her what she wanted, but because you had no idea what she was after as she kept asking you over and over again the same question as she received the same response. Bella is now leaning over you and there was something in her eyes that told you that she really didn’t want to hurt you and asked you once more.
“I’m giving you a final chance, L/n. What is it you’re not telling me?”
Suddenly, you feel a searing pain as she was scorching something into your skin as you screamed like never before, kicking your feet underneath her turning your face away from her, trying to break free. Once she did release you, you noticed that what she scorched in your skin was a word that stands as a reminder of who you really are;
Before she could go any further with you, you felt someone grab your arm and pulled you up, realized it was Harry. You had clung onto him, holding his arm from behind without either of you realizing that Hermoine had become Bella’s hostage.
A few short minutes go by before she repeats herself once more, this time with more venom added to her tone.
You all reluctantly did as she asked and the next thing you know, the chandelier had fallen from the ceiling, Bellatrix moving out of the way releasing Hermoine. Dobby approaches your group like he was proud of himself.
“You could of killed me!” Bellatrix screeched.
“Dobby never means to kill, just to injure. Dobby has come to rescue Harry Potter and his friends.”
With that, you were gone and thought that moment to be sure of you being the last time to see your ex lover.
While the trio didn’t attend Hogwarts, you still did. You soon found yourself among those during the battle of Hogwarts.
It was your final year and you never would have imagined it would be like this; the you pictured it, it was to be the best year of your life. Despite of the head of slytherin house becoming headmaster of the school. You weren’t going to let that or anything, let alone anyone else stand in your way as you try your very best to make this your greatest year. Even though it didn’t turn out the way you would have liked it to, you were in this battle together. Nothing scared you.
Well… almost nothing but a certain witch. The painful memory of what she did to you that fateful day would always stick with you no matter what. It was a part of you now, and it was true. As the battle was raging on, you were running all over the place trying to your best to avoid getting hit by spells or run into your ex lover. But right as you turn the next corner, you bump into someone, and that someone was not a very good person above all.
In this situation, it was almost as if you were the hero and she was the villain. For the first few minutes of staring at each other in pure shock, she reaches out for your hand and holds it in hers before having her say.
“I think I’m still in love with you.”
