The difference between Picard and The Mandalorian? Writers who know their source material, know their film classics.
Start this game by asking your child to name, for example, one animal they really like. After they do that, you can start the story with one sentence, featuring that animal. For example: „The cat was feeling really bored one day.“ Your child should continue the story by adding the next sentence. Then you add the third sentence and so on. This is a great practice for both creativity and attention, as they will need to follow the story closely in order to know what they can say next. Instead of an animal, they can choose a profession, a color, or anything else – it’s all up to you!
„What can you use a plate for, except for eating?“
„What are some of the things you can do with a pencil?“
„How can you use shoelaces? Here, I’ll start: you can make them into bracelets! What else?“
These are just some of the questions that will encourage your child’s creativity and diverse thinking. You can take any everyday object and start throwing around ideas about how that object can be used. This game is very useful but it makes for a lot of fun, too!
Mom when there's a literal fire: "Someone get a picture of me" @chronicallyalive89
Tonight I've been in 3 states and still wrote a 17 page research lab report. What do normal people do at night?
My mom has appropriate reactions to things like mass shooting threats.
{before}
It’s not the same as before.
Before was when we walked the same path, in the same direction. Now I’m flying airplanes, and you’re biking towards the sea.
