Tip #1:

When you're getting overwhelmed, a good way to escape a situation without making a fuss or gathering judgement is to claim you have a migraine or headache. People seem to be more sympathetic to those causes, and it allows you to escape sensory-overloading situations with a valid excuse!

for the darker and lighter values, only change the hue (hue hue hue hue- sorry lmao) and not the saturation, darkness, and lightness! by changing the hue it will already change the brightness and darkness!!

Listen up, this week is Tip Week.  I don’t know why.  Don’t judge me.  This world keeps getting stupider so I’m going to try to do something to Help People.  Every day I’ll post some random thing I do when painting that I’ll label a Tip.

Tip 1: Gloves of Handling

When painting very tiny details that require very steady hands, I wear a glove on my left hand so I can cradle the miniature and provide extra support and steadiness.  Gloves have the advantage of preventing the model from contacting your disgusting human skin, all coated in its filthy oils constantly excreting from your vile, disgusting pores and glands. 

Whatever you do, don’t use cotton gloves.  Cotton gloves constantly release what I call a “miasma of bullshit,” tiny little strands and fluff that sticks to the model, gets in your paints, gets stuck in your brushes, etc.  I use museum display handling gloves, as they’re made of nylon and don’t release spores like cotton.  They’re made to handle works of art, like the beautiful models all of you beautiful people create.  Never be afraid to express that beauty that rests quietly in your heart; even if nobody sees it, it’s still worth expressing and you’re still a beautiful person.

Family isn't only relevant to those related by blood! Your are not obligated to love someone just because you share DNA!! If you are uncomfortable being around or loving that person, stop!! Make a new family! Do not constrict yourself to a horrible, toxic relationship (even if it is "family") just because of societal pressures! There are so many people out there that will care endlessly about you, so do yourself a favour and find them!! Make them your family instead! Everyone needs someone to rely on, that's what family is for!!
