Dog Eat Dogs Branding by Makebardo

DOG EAT DOGS, is a Queenstown dog trader. Local and proud. A hot dog is a hot dog in America, Asia or any part of the world but depending on the dressing you can travel to a specific place, and in this point is where Dog Eat Dogs becomes unique because they create their own and original sauces who invite any palate to fly even outside of this planet.

Inspired by the same concept of multiculturalism, we decided to work on the brand with an irregular stroke connoting the idea and value that the product is not "linear" but instead that it has the baggage of a mixture of cultures. The jagged line does not mean that it is sloppy or wrong, conversely, what it symbolizes is that the mix of cultures creates a new line that moves, changes and evolves.

Packaging for The Changer by makebardo

“For the visual identity we’ve used the resource of a a ‘torn paper’ to follow the previous concepts such as ‘Discovering new flavours with the mixed’. We’ve created the sensation and experience of tearing the layers to discover something new and precious. To emphasise this idea, we used copper foil. We’ve achieved a unique design and well-defined graphics with a visual texture. Uncoated / Textured papers with a wonderful touch of copper foil and an embossing finishing lends the brand to distinction, impact and a crafted quality to the identity that reflects a personal approach to the brand.”
