i'm quietly malding about czech 20th century cultural heritage and archival footage never been as well done as gosteleradiofond in russia, an entire agency sponsored by the state that does nothing but upload all different types of media literally every two hours to a youtube channel in HD.

i mean they have like 6 subdivisions and separate channels that just like. upload all soviet musical media ever produced. all soviet comedy ever produced. one that uploads all films ever produced that weren't already uploaded by mosfilm. one that uploads all RADIO man.

i want to be able to watch a random czech cooking program that aired only in ustecký kraj for one rainy thursday in april of 1982 or a czech-made nature documentary about seals on the canadian islands made in late 1978 at the click of a button, and not have to wait for ČT24 or whatever other godless organization to upload some random 30 second clip of the most popular normal media everyone has seen once every 5 weeks in a 1:1 aspect ratio.

seriously no other country on the planet has mastered the art of saving their 20th century cultural heritage like gosteleradiofond has - and it's all powered by the eternal spirit of pyotr demichev and his hairline.
