moments i thought up but don’t know how to fit into a full fic part 10/?
(everyone here seems to be getting super agitated as we get closer to the end of this long ass hiatus so have a soft moment to cheer you up)
Magnus sat alone on the balcony with a glass of wine in his hand, the chilly air nipping at his fingers. He checked the time after a long day and realised that Alec should be home soon. Before Magnus could even think of calling his boyfriend, someone walked through the front door.
Alec didn’t need to say anything for Magnus to realise it was him. He had gotten used to recognising Alec’s walking pattern. Alec stepped out onto the balcony and walked up to Magnus with a deep sigh. Magnus looked up with a furrowed brow.
“Can I have a hug?” asked Alec in a whisper. It was clear that he had had a long and tiring day as well. Magnus offered him a soft smile, placed his wine down, and stood up to embrace Alec tightly.
A hug was exactly what Magnus needed that night as well. Alec inhaled Magnus’ scent deeply and buried his face into the man’s neck, desperate to melt into him.
“Thank you,” Alec mumbled against Magnus’ shoulder. Magnus closed his eyes and squeezed Alec even tighter.
He pressed a soft kiss against Alec’s neck and lay his head against him in response. It wasn’t long until the feeling of each other’s heartbeats calmed them both down.
