It was a lazy Sunday, and the light filtering through the curtains painted the bedroom in a warm, golden hue. Magnus and Alec lay entangled in each other’s arms after a particularly x-rated morning, basking in the afterglow. Alec, still groggy, rested his head on Magnus’s chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.

Magnus’s fingers danced idly over Alec’s skin, tracing the intricate lines of his rune tattoos. The gentle caress sent shivers down Alec’s spine, the light touch so different from any sensation he had experienced before. As Magnus’s fingers moved, they brushed over particularly sensitive spots, causing Alec to squirm ever so slightly.

"Everything alright, Alexander?" Magnus's voice was smooth, filled with amusement as he observed Alec's subtle movements.

Alec's cheeks flushed slightly. "Yeah, everything's fine," he replied, trying to keep his voice steady. He didn't want to admit that such a soft touch was making him feel ticklish. The playful tickle fights he had endured with Jace and Izzy were nothing like this. Those had been rough and easy to resist, but this… this was different.

Magnus, ever observant, continued his exploration, his fingers trailing down Alec's side where the skin was especially sensitive. Alec bit his lip, trying to suppress a giggle, but a small, involuntary twitch gave him away.

Magnus's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Oh? What have we here, Alexander?" he murmured, his voice taking on a teasing lilt. He adjusted his position, giving himself better access to Alec’s sides, and began tracing the tattoos with more deliberate, feathery strokes.

Alec couldn’t help it. A giggle escaped his lips, followed by another as Magnus's fingers continued their delicate assault. "M-Magnus, stop!" he managed to get out between laughs, his face growing redder with each passing second.

"Why, Alexander, I had no idea you were so ticklish," Magnus said, his smile widening. He didn’t stop, however, enjoying the rare sight of Alec's carefree laughter.

Alec's laughter turned breathless, and he started to feel a wave of embarrassment wash over him. He twisted away from Magnus's touch, suddenly serious again, his eyes squeezed shut as he tried to compose himself. "Magnus, please…" he said, his voice strained, "stop."

Magnus immediately ceased his playful tickling, concern replacing the amusement in his eyes. "Alexander, what's wrong?" he asked gently, his hand cupping Alec’s face.

Alec took a deep breath, trying to steady his racing heart. "I just… I feel so silly, so… childish," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "I mean, I know you’ve lived for centuries, and I’m just. It’s embarrassing…. and makes me seem like a little kid…” Alex struggled to explain.

Magnus's expression softened. He pressed a tender kiss to Alec's forehead. "Do you really hate it?" he asked gently. "Because if you do, I will stop. Your comfort is important to me."

Alec shook his head, his eyes meeting Magnus's. "No, I don’t hate it," he admitted. "It’s just… I feel embarrassed. I’ve never been tickled like this before, and I didn’t expect it to make me laugh so much."

Magnus smiled, relief evident on his face. "Being ticklish isn’t a sign of immaturity, Alexander. It’s just another way to share intimacy and have fun. Trust me, I’m quite ticklish myself."

Alec looked up at Magnus, surprise flickering in his eyes. "You are?"

Magnus chuckled. "Yes, very much so. It’s one of those things that can make moments like this playful and special. It’s not something to be ashamed of."

Alec let out a sigh of relief, a small smile forming on his lips. "Really?"

"Really," Magnus confirmed. "And just so you know, I quite enjoy seeing you laugh."

Magnus's fingers resumed their gentle tracing, this time with Alec feeling a bit more at ease. Alec's giggles erupted again, but this time, he allowed himself to laugh freely, the sound filling the room with warmth.

Alec twisted and turned, trying to evade Magnus's teasing fingers, but he was caught between amusement and the unbearable sensation. "Magnus, you're terrible," he managed to say through his laughter, but his tone was lighter now, more playful.

"Terrible? I think you mean delightful," Magnus replied, his eyes twinkling with mischief as he continued his gentle onslaught.

Alec’s laughter turned breathless, tears of mirth forming at the corners of his eyes. He had never felt so vulnerable and yet so loved in a single moment. Finally, Magnus relented, pulling Alec into a warm embrace.

"Do you see now?" Magnus asked, his voice soft and tender. "It’s just fun, Alexander."

Alec nodded, his heart swelling with affection for the man beside him. "Yeah, it is," he admitted. "Thank you, Magnus."

Magnus smiled, brushing a lock of hair away from Alec's face. "Would you like to find out how fun it is to be the tickl…..er?” he asked, a playful challenge in his tone.

A spark of mischief appeared in Alec's eyes as he shifted positions, pinning Magnus beneath him. "Oh, I think I would," he said, his fingers already seeking out the most ticklish spots on Magnus's sides.

Magnus burst into laughter as Alec's fingers found their mark. The warlock's usually composed demeanor dissolved into uncontrollable giggles. "A-Alexander, you scoundrel!" he gasped between laughs.

Alec grinned, feeling a sense of joy and connection in this playful exchange. "Payback time," he teased, continuing his light tickles, reveling in Magnus's reactions.

Eventually, Alec relented, collapsing beside Magnus, both of them breathless and grinning from ear to ear. Magnus turned to Alec, brushing a lock of hair away from his face. "See? Fun, isn’t it?"

Alec nodded, his heart swelling with affection for the man beside him. "Yeah, it is," he admitted. "Thank you, Magnus."

Magnus smiled, pulling Alec close once more. "Anytime, my love. Anytime."

~Random thought~

Imagine this: Malec is having a fight and they end up sleeping in different beds. Both hella mad at each other. Alec at the institute & Magnus alone at his apartment. Out of the blue, someone kidnaps Magnus. The next morning Alec receives a fire message with all the details of what had happened the previous night, but no where Magnus is. Of course he has to remain silent and not tell anyone anything about it, but then he loses his mind. His Magnus has been kidnapped. He start cursing and panic swallows him. What if his Magnus is hurt or worse? If he won't hand over the institute to the kidnappers within the next 3 days his precious Magnus is dying.

On the other hand, Magnus wakes up with a terrible headache, but that's not his only problem, he's been drugged ,therefore using his magic is not an option. But he's Magnus freaking Bane, he won't let himself panic. At least not now, not until he finds a way to get out.

After an hour of cursing, screaming and panicking, he puts his shit together. It's time to save his lover, but of course it won't be that easy. The clave has not been cooperative and tracking Magnus has been a challenge. The warlock in nowhere to be found and 24 hours has already pass without a progress. The whole institute is trying to find Magnus Bane as Alec has set the research as priority, but still nothing. So it's high time to take the situation in his own hands. Something that does not normally do.

After 48 hours without sleep he finally tracks Magnus down with Jace's help. The threatening fire messages hasn't stopped coming and the situation start getting serious when one of them had arrived with blood on it. That was the last drop. Alec was going to save Magnus no matter what.

Despite his parabatai's objections on going to the address alone he ends up going, but without a plan. He's Alec Lightwood, he always has a plan, but not this time! This time Magnus is the one who's in danger and he can't think straight.

After hours of screaming and kicking and swearing Magnus falls on his knees out of breath. "Alexander, my angel..." whispers Magnus. "Are you even looking for me"? He adds. Little does he knows that his Alexander has moved heaven and earth to find him. Moments later and tired because of, the drug, Magnus finally falls asleep, but not for too long. The kidnappers bushed into Magnus's cell. They got him by surprise, he thought he had been left alone to die, but no. One of them punches him in the face and two more drag him out of them room. Blood all over Magnus's face and the fact that they have drugged him made it worse. The kicking won't stop. They just kept hitting him and telling him how they will kill him and his stupid Shadowhunter. At this point everything were extremely painful. The last kick on the face set Magnus unconscious. He wouldn't beg them to stop though. No, he had pride. Cold water meets Magnus's face and with a deep breath "comes back to life" and they kept hurting him.

Alec was ready to break that door and save Magnus, when a hand held him back. Jace, his parabatai. "We need a plan" says Jace. "We don't have time for a plan Jace I heard him screaming I'm going inside". Says Alec, but Jace holdded him down again. Explaining him that the clave finally had sent back up. And then Alec realized that his parabatai hasn't come alone, but with a bunch a Shadowhunters, ready to fight. Another painful scream made Alec's heart break. There's no time to waste. With Alec's signal dozens of Shadowhunters enters the building and Alec running to find his partner.

What Alec faced when he saw Magnus was terrible. Magnus, sitting on a chair with his hands tied on the back, blood and bruises all over this body. "Magnus "? Said Alec scared that Magnus might be dead. "Finally, you showed up! We thought you didn't want to join our party" said one of them laughing and grabbed a knife and placed it on Magnus's throat. He didn't flinch. Everything hurt and his gaze was blurry. He wasn't sure if the tall man in front him was his Alexander. He stayed silent and waited for what will happen next.

Alec furious looks at the guy. His bow and quiver ready to let the arrow fly direct at this jerk's heart, but with the knife on Magnus's neck couldn't risk it. He didn't know what to do, but then his parabatai showed up with a few Shadowhunters. "You didn't expect me to be alone, did you"? Says Alec and while, the guy was trying to process the fact that arrows and seraph blades were pointed at him, then Alec let not one, not two, but three arrows fly and hit his enemy's heart.

While the rest of the Shadowhunters where doing their job Alec drops his weapons and runs to his half- unconcious boyfriend. Taking his face softly in his hands scared that will hurt him & saying his boyfriend's name again and again. Magnus then opens his eyes for a moment seeing Alec's face and closing them again. "Magnus, babe please stay awake, please my Magnus " says Alec desperate, while Jace let Magnus's hands free from the ropes. Magnus forces his eyes open and trying to say something, but collapses completely unconscious on Alec's arms. The Shadowhunter holds Magnus's body as careful as possible and caring his cheek saying to him that everything is gonna be okay, that he's safe now.

Idk what I was thinking, I'm just saying that Alec saving Magnus like a knight in shining armor is just so... argh romantic. 🤧 Should I write it down as ff?🤔 what u guys think?

I’ve been working on something I can’t seem to be able to finish, so here’s a little sneek peak because I need to get some of it out. Here’s some Malec love 🥰

Alec wakes up to softness. Everywhere, everything is softness and warmth. Next to the bed, the rain and the wind brush against the window in a dance that seems to be made for this cocoon. The pitter-patter could lull him back to sleep. It sounds cold outside, the horizon is still dark, unfriendly. But inside… Inside, it’s the opposite.

They didn’t fall asleep like that, with Magnus’s back against his chest, one of Alec’s arms wrapped around Magnus’s waist. His skin is warm.

If Alec had to describe happiness, that would be it. The lightest bubble of air in his chest, Magnus’s warmth against him, all around him.

And outside, the world.

A quiet world, cottoned, a drizzle and wind.

He inhales deeply the scent of Magnus’s hair, of him and closes his eyes to the memories of a few hours earlier.

From the tip of his fingers, Magnus traced the outlines of Alec’s face, grazing his hair and Alec let the tenderness of the gesture envelop him.

“No one has ever touched me like that,” he whispered against Magnus’s palm, surprising himself at how easy it is to voice his own thoughts.

“No one has ever inspired my magic flowers,” Magnus answered. His fingers looked for shivers behind Alec’s ear and before he had time to ask him for another flower, Magnus birthed a blue star in his hand. It transformed into a flower Alec couldn’t see, but already loved.

“Thanks,” he murmured, leaning to kiss Magnus one more time.

But he opens his eyes again. The clock indicates 5.24. Alec knows he won’t be able to fool his brain any longer, the twinge in his chest a painful reminder that he will have to get up in 6 minutes and leave all this behind. He sighs, already dreading the journey back.

Magnus stirs in his arms, breaking him from his thoughts, bringing him back to a much more pleasant present. No matter what happens, it was worth it.

Alec laughed, a small, slow, rasped exhale. "Fine," he said quietly. He felt the ground lift away as his eyelids drifted closed. He blinked them open again. His height, which as the Warden he had noticed was lesser than the Kestrel's by two or three inches, though still considerably tall, made carrying Alec difficult, a tangle of long limbs drooping from his arms at uncomfortable-looking angles. Alec's head banged against the Kestrel's shoulder. "Where to?" The UC asked him. Alec's eyes closed, opened, then closed again heavily. "The subway," he replied, voice soft and low. They reached the end of the alleyway, and the Kestrel was careful to avoid the third body, draped on its back across the floor. Alec surveyed it before they turned away. A man. His eyes, once again, drifted shut. This time they didn't re-open.

Thump. Thump. Thump, went the Kestrel's heart.

Alec fell asleep just as the police sirens began to scream.

•whenever Alec goes to bed first after a long mission, Magnus will always come snuggle with him once he gets home. and Alec is always half awake, trying to unbutton Magnus’ many layers and grumbling and cursing and whining for Magnus to use his magic and Magnus is just grinning and secretly loves being manhandled by him.

•Neither Magnus nor Alec are morning people. They would both rather sleep in until noon and stay up until midnight working. So they always wait until the last possible minute to get up in the mornings. They normally share a steamy shower though which just starts the day off right.

•Alec didn’t really think he could ever enjoy being lazy since you know, Shadowhunter, but he learns to love it with Magnus. There is truly no other way he would rather spend the day than watching movies curled up with Magnus and just literally doing nothing productive. Magnus has always enjoyed the art of being lazy, but it gets 10000000 times better when Alexander, his soldier Shadowhunter husband, finds joy in just being with Magnus.

•sleeping positions: I don’t think they spoon that often only because they like to sleep facing each other, but they’re still just as cuddly. Like I literally think they get as close as possible. They hold hands, intertwine legs, the whole nine yards because they’re both clingy people who love to be held and hold eachother.

•Magnus gets so used to Alec’s snores that he can’t sleep without them. If they’re ever away and can’t sleep together, Magnus will listen to the recording of Alec snoring that Magnus took after Alec didn’t believe he actually snored, and he’ll fall asleep so quickly after that.

•We all know Alec denies he snores, but Magnus denies that he’s a blanket hog even though he totally is. He gets cold at night and he’s used to sleeping alone so he’ll wrap the blanket around him and bundle up underneath the covers. Alec wakes up all the time shivering because he doesn’t have anything covering him, but he’ll just tug on Magnus and Magnus will roll on top of him to keep him warm and share some of the blankets.

•Magnus keeps his glamour down whenever he feels relaxed and safe, so he starts putting it down whenever they’re just lying in bed together. It makes Magnus’ heart soar when Alec looks straight into those cat eyes and sleepily mumbles “beautiful” while cuddling closer and completely laying himself bare because he just trusts Magnus so much. It still stuns Magnus all the time after his past, that a Shadowhunter has no problem being vulnerable with him. They love eachother so much I can’t even fathom it 🥺🥺🥺
