some zelda villain headcanons

ghirahim’s small ear is an injury from when he was recently forged-- he got in a fight with a lynel and the tip broke off. demise repaired it for his true form but didn’t bother to fix the glamour

speaking of repairs, ghirahim learned how to fix himself while demise was sealed. only minor buffs and scratches though, nothing grave

zant’s short fingers are just Like That, but his mouth slits are scars

if not for demise’s bullshit immortality curse, either bellum or malladus would have officially taken over as the new demon king

malladus actually DID crown himself demon king once he arrived in what would become new hyrule because he had no contact with the OG hyrule landmass once he left and so no idea ganondorf existed

if astor survived post-AoC, he would have purple markings on his back like a silver monster from the insane amount of malice he was exposed to. my personal choice is lynel stripes :3

astor HATES sugar and anything sweet, which is ironic since monster cake is said to be sweeter than any other kind of cake

meanwhile, do NOT leave vaati alone with sugar cubes if you want to have any sugar cubes

i knew i wanted to do spirit tracks zelda and malladus for this prompt- it's like two undead for the price of one! a ghost and her possessed body! i considered many st zelda designs for this but ultimately went for this one because of the eerie design for ghost zelda; exactly the spooky vibes i think she should have.
