Loonatics in Action It took me a while to finish this one. I wanted to draw the Loonatics in a style inspired by the Marvel Rivals cover, giving it a similar tone. I also wanted to add some white to their costumes and a few extra clothing pieces to give them more individuality. For Ace, I went with an urban ninja style featuring a transparent cyberpunk-inspired jacket and a visor. I also gave him a more traditional katana instead of his extendable sword, since I think it fits better as an accessory. Lexi has more of an urban street dancer vibe. For Duck, I added some streetwear elements. Tech wears a coat resembling a lab coat, while Slam and Rev have more sporty looks. Slam keeps his mask as a nod to both his wrestling past and the Swat Kats. Designing their powers also took quite some time, but overall it was really fun.

It's actually very hard to judge the severity of a disaster in Metropolis because, obviously, that's Superman's town and he tends to turn stuff around pretty efficiently. The people of Metropolis have this meme called "The Lois Lane Tank Top Disaster Index" which functions similarly to the "Is Anderson Cooper in a tight black t-shirt" disaster index. It's actually a surprisingly accurate indicator of how far things have gone to shit.

We may be seeing backup from the Justice League, which like, be prepared because you never know what that's going to look like.

My mom still imitates the two year old from the early learning center where she worked. He tried to be helpful at the end of playtime by yelling at the other kids “hey, motherfuckers, playtime is over!”
