"man vs. self" conflict but instead of an emotional internal conflict it's the character fighting against their own body's physical limitations. "man vs. self" as in "character with too much motivation for their own good trying to accomplish an unrealistic goal by forcing themselves to sustain an unsustainable work ethic until they burn all the way out." best character arc ever.

Going back to Belphie what if the killer Belphie yells at Belphie protecting mc saying that he wasn’t any better since he still killed them and he knows that he enjoyed it just hearing their fragile human neck snap and telling him to stop playing hero

waaa the angst =w=)!!! 

i’m sure belphie could counter saying that he was clouded by revenge / this isnt what lilith wouldve wanted / something something “even after i killed them nothing changed i still felt as empty as before”

i’d love a conversation like this in game 😊💭!! it’d be nice to see him confront what he did and show off how he’s grown since then
