Harold and The Purple Crayon trailer

Over at Amazon, the Harold and The Purple Crayon book is recommended for ages 2 to 4. That’s pretty limited for a movie audience, so it looks like the produces are targeting 6 to 10 year olds. And I suspect the only adult that see it will be dragged there by their children.

The movie stars Zachary Levi as Harold - all grown up… yet based on his performance in the trailer, he’s delivering another Man-Child. While it worked in the first Shazam movie, it got tiresome by the sequel. Will it work a 3rd time? At 44 years old you might think Levi might want more grown up roles.

MHA 2.1 - That's the Idea, Ochako - part 1

I've made it to season 2, woot, woot! Right off the bat it hits me with a new character tease and a MAJOR reveal.

Wait, wait, wait. All Might HAS A NAME?! I mean, of course he has a name, but it never occurred to me to think about All Might's actual human name. Toshinori is such a cute name too.

And who is this that he is writing to? It mentioned him being a teacher, so did he teach Toshi-babe at UA?

Well a staff meeting is not the most exciting start to a new season (got enough of those in real life thanks), but they gotta recap somehow I guess.

AHAHA! Almost spit my drink when Toshi-babe said this. Of all the descriptors I was expecting to hear this was not one of them. Accurate though.

There is COUNSELING in this world. Does it include mental and emotional therapy or is it just quirk advising? This sounds more like quirk-only stuff. But PLEASE sign all the 1-A kids up for real therapy.

Are we just calling Shigaraki Man-Child now? I support this. I love it when the show picks nicknames for me. 70+ villains followed him to the USJ, but they were pretty pathetic. They seem to be teasing that there will be more villainous followers to come. Yay!

I relate to him going to watch his favorite video as comfort. It's like a movie that you can always go back to when your sick or are feeling down. Bless.

It seems like he is feeling pressure to live up to All Might. It is nuts that he inherited this massive power and the clock is ticking for him to take up the mantle of the greatest hero on earth. That is A LOT for a teen. I would be an anxious wreck if I were him.
