After saving Cardin in the forest
Jaune: You had no right to taint my kill I had it under control
Pyrrha: But your aim was off you wouldn't have killed it and it would have hit you
Jaune: I was going to slash its throat to leave an opening to a follow up i'm not some untrained novice who need protecting especially for someone who only has experience fighting people in tournaments not real fighting and now my kill has no honor
"Is honor really so important when your life is on the line?"
"My life is always on the line, Pyrrha." Jaune stepped closer. "Death is just at the end of it. But my honor is forever."
Pyrrha was about to argue when she suddenly felt herself being pulled away from her leader. Looking to him, he was suspended in place by a strange, purple aura. She looked to the side and saw Professor Goodwitch approaching.
"I think that's enough, you two." The stern woman said. "You classmate is injured, but you're both too arrogant to help anyone but yourselves."
Cardin Winchester was helped to his feet by his team, who had already started bandaging him. He gave them all a snarl, clearly angry at being left behind by them, though he softened a bit when another bandage roll was offered to him.
"Pride is a dangerous emotion, you two." The semblance holding them in place faded and the two best fighters of Team JNPR were freed. "And since that lesson wasn't learned hard enough, I'll see you both in detention tomorrow after classes."
"Yes, Professor Goodwitch." Pyrrha answered. Jaune didn't answer, simply walking past the older woman. Pyrrha was about to chase after him when an arm stopped her. "Wha...?"
"He's young and impatient." Professor Goodwitch adjusted her glasses. "I've seen plenty of huntsmen and huntresses start out the same way. However..." Green eyes locked onto green eyes, "I've also seen too many perish without saying what they need to say."
"What should I say?" Pyrrha asked.
