Manga Monday - 22 January 2024

Hiya fiends,

It's time for another #MangaMonday!

Last week I continued my #DemonSlayer read with volumes 19 and 20. For the uninitiated , this is a manga about the Demon Slayer Corps and their numerous battles against demons (as you may have guessed). This series is absolutely fantastic! While at times it can feel quite 'fight scene heavy' (given the nature of the story, that's completely understandable), the character backstories are phenomenal and on more than one occasion, I've found myself feeling sorry for a murderous demon. So that's nice!

I continued my #OnePiece journey with volume 27. I don't know what I can say about this manga that hasn't already been said by just about everyone else, but I will say this: no matter what kind of day I've had, One Piece always puts a smile on my face.

Last week I also started on #FullmetalAlchemist and... OH MY GOD! HOW GOOD IS THIS??? Even after only one volume, I can already feel a new obsession developing. I'm looking forward to diving into Volume 2! What manga have you been reading recently?
