I just finished the jjk manga and here are my personal thoughts on it!
I liked it! Of course I've only read up till chapt 271 because it's past 4 in the morning(I binged it) and the rest feels like one big yap sesh ngl.
I really liked the conclusions of the character arcs here and how most of it payed off in the end.
Now of course, with all shonen manga endings, it feels a biiiit rushed , but as always I'll let the pacing issues slide because it didn't really feel like a drag and I'll focus on the things I really liked, like:
The action.
The lore/backstory
The ART(chefs kiss clean)
The character moments
It counts as action, but as an artist myself I'm going to mention it; the god tier choreography.
How choso's heroic sacrifice was handled, it was beautiful.
How much of a BADASS maki was made.
The representation, woooow gaygay really living up to his name, hah? Good show.
And of course this beautiful character🥲 Stand strong king, you were magnificent.
Now, for what I didn't like:
The lack of a fight between uraume and hakari.
The conclusion to the end of the gojo versus sukuna fight.
The fact that the sorcerers pressed sukuna and eventually killed him(tho I'm pretty sure he's in some sort of box now riggght???) and he still was acting far more pressed in the fight with my glorious king, even tho he was supposed to be HoLdInG BAcK, I don't buy that btw.
How miwa barely did anything, and that binding vow or whatever she did in Shibuya was stupid ASF.
The chapters that were full of talk, talk, talk. As saitama says:"20 words or less"
The sheer amount of off screening towards the end, I mean it was most likely because gregory was being pressed by the higher ups(like gojo😱)
But that's more or less it, over all I'll give an 8.6 out of 10. Good job mostly, one eyed garfield. Anyway, some sketches that I did while binge reading, some of them original, some not.
