This month we're celebrating the Cymric!
The Cymric is essentially a long-haired Manx cat known for their bobbed or completely absent tails. While the Manx historically hails from the Isle of Man, the Cymric breed is a Canadian development, even if the name comes from Welsh origins. This is because prior to the Cymric's introduction as a breed, the long-haired variation was considered undesirable for Manx show cats.
