#collaborationdinner #gameday #poboy We roasted some pork loin from @alpinebutcher with a heavy glaze of our #maplegingerpearjam all afternoon while waiting for tonight’s game and snow, then nestled that delectable shredded pork atop some roasted then smashed and pan seared potatoes from @millcitygrows. We dressed the rest to impress our digestion with some @pigeoncoveferments kraut, #spicymix #microgreens from @neighborsacre and a smooth spread of Rogue River Blue from @millcitycheesemongers, all held together with an airy and sturdy baguette from @breadobsession. The wait is over, my prayers were answered, and we couldn’t be more elated to let you all know the big news; #MapleGingerPearJam is back!!! . Once in a while you get shown the light... . We were desperate to find #magrown #ginger this year, many #local farms had a tough growing year, and we were worried we bight not be able to make this #trulylocal treat. We were lucky enough to meet the right people who referred us to @oldfriendsfarm, the #pioneers of Massachusetts grown ginger, and boy did they deliver, literally! #SweetboyJames took the trip to #Boston to help me pick up exactly what we needed at the @copleysqfmkt so we could bring back this fan favorite from last season. . Artfully crated with #boscpears from @westwardorchards, the life saving hookup of #ginger from @oldfriendsfarm, and some out of this world #verydark #puremaplesyrup from @craggedmountainmaple, this incredible delight is everything last years fans have been waiting for, and if you aren’t already one after reading this, it will be available all weekend for a #tastetease at each of our events (all listed with directions at gratefultastes.com) to turn you into one! . We set it atop some creamy polenta we seasoned with #himalayansalt and @pigeoncoveferments #blackgarlic.
