The assignment from Sienna had only just arrived, and Blake was quick to receive it.  A new mark--a shipment of Dust from a known faunus-manned mine owned by the Schnee Dust Company was being delivered to Mistral.  They were to take it back, but they would need to move quickly.

With time of the essence, Blake knew she had to get the orders to Athena.  She rushed to her lover’s tent, and slipped in quickly, not even bothering to announce herself.  She knew how Athena arranged it, so she didn’t even look up right away, still running over the details of the mission.

“Athena, we have new orders,” she began. “There’s a new--” As she looked up, she cut herself off, and her eyes widened. “...Athena...”

“So like...the dark fortress of eternal darkness is yer thing or ya just sorta...found dis place like it was?” She had very wierd luck popping up in places she is not supposed to. And now she looked at this weird woman that looked more like a monster than a human. She didn’t know Remnant had these. Something felt familiar about her though.

Man, it's weird realizing that I remember when your blog was getting big. It's been a while--though I'm very glad that you're still around, friend. <3

Its funny how this blog has grown really. For a while we had some pretty steady growth, then some time when it felt like we’d reached our settling point, which had its own charms. Steady mutuals, a calmer sort of environment.... nothing to complain about. 

Then, Volume 6 started. 

This blog exploded when the hiatus ended, leaving me entirely and completely at a loss for words or idea for what to say about it. I’m still not entirely sure how to feel about it all, its all happened so quickly. 

We went from around 600 followers to this point where we are currently just a few shy of a thousand and I have absolutely no idea what to do or say regarding it. I’d love to do something special, but I’m really not sure what, nothing that I can think of really encompasses my complete and utter stupefaction that my content has kept the interest of so many wonderful people. 

So, really, I’d like to thank you friend, you and everyone else that follows this blog. Thank you for interacting with me, for liking my content. Thank you for sticking around and being the reason why we’ve gotten to this point.
