i do enjoy a good marauders content where theyre found family/wholesome and funny pranksters but i ALSO enjoy some fucked up dynamics cuz yeah these guys found out your biggest secret and accept you in spite of most of society thinking youre a monster but thats also a huge amount of trust to put into a pair of jokesters Who Risked The Exposure Of Your Secret To Prank (Nearly Kill) Some Guy They Dont Like (and if he died the blood be on your hands, wouldnt it?). they could drop you and lose nothing. it doesnt matter if they really are 100% trustworthy and would never do it. itll still eat at you inside.

So a man who was ridiculed by making him wear a women's dress and finding it funny would be transphobic but the one who did it would be an ally.

How could ppl still defend the bullying that james potter n his gang of friends did after reading SWM is beyond my understanding. The stupidity. The lack of empathy.

Yeah sure as a girl, growing up handsome bully x good girl trope is everywhere and being told that when boys mess with u, or bother u in any form means that he likes u is inescapable. Thus making it, ironically romantic when a boy mess with a girl. Oh he likes her, how sweet.

But to defend the bullying itself?? I mean yeah sure go read it if u like em but dont justify them??? Yeah love the marauders but accept that they are not a saint. They are far from it. I see, concerningly, A LOT tried to justify the bullying that they did.

Im listening to the audiobooks and still on the SWM chapter so id rather give my further opinion later to avoid any bias. But fuck the marauders.
