HI MARBLEBEE tumblr never told me about this notification. tragic.

unfortunately i have only listened to the one album of theirs that they played at wwwy (greatest generation?? i think??) but i am so obsessed with it. for the last 3 days ive been like "when is i just want to sell out my funeral going to come on shuffle" and it did today and i went so insane. also they were the only band at wwwy (to my knowledge) that said anything about freeing palestine and protecting trans kids which i think was 1. cool of them and 2. less cool of the other bands who didnt (it was a concert not a rally blah blah you have a platform use it)

anyway. teenage parents means a lot to me. also there, there, cul-de-sac, and the bastards the vultures the wolves <3 (the last of which is soooooo no love will btw)

i am absolutely taking song recs for the wonder years also if u have any to offer <3

23. what's a story you'd love to write but haven't even started yet?

i had to check my marinating folder and omg........ my writers room au and postcards au............ both have mostly been planned exclusively in the sw discord server and i havent done much else with them bc they both came to me during a really bad writer's block BUT

writers room: nico is the head writer and one of the stars of a sitcom and will is a guest actor who's popped on set a few times, but has been bumped up to a series regular for the upcoming season bc the network has decided that nico's character Has to have a love interest right now and the show's producer (i think its probably reyna) makes the decision for nico on who its going to be (will, obv) so that nico doesnt get the whole show canceled

postcards: will gets a job at a university hospital and moves into a new apartment where he periodically gets postcards sent to his apartment number with no addressee and no signature but the cards come from all over the world and catalogue a mystery stranger's adventures. eventually this stranger writes that he'll be coming to visit soon, and will has no way of telling them that whoever they've been writing to doesn't live there anymore, so when will and nico first meet face to face its on will's doorstep and nico has the full intention of sleeping in that apartment for the next week

26. Do you ever "prep" your fics with outlines or warmups before you start writing, or do you just dive right in?

i'd say its probably half and half! sometimes i will get into a mood and write a <2k fic with no planning and no breaks and that's fine without notes to remind me what the heck im doing but for longer fics i absolutely need planning, almost everything planned out down to each individual moment. sometimes the planning is so detailed that its almost like an unreadable first draft. ethan has complained to me about how detailed my planning is and how they could never do that. but also sometimes my planning is a couple of sentences worth of notes just to remind me what the point is lmao

30. Have you noticed your style change over time?

this is perfect timing bc i actually just read a wip that i started in high school and (thank god) never finished or posted anywhere and. idk if this is technically style-related but my god do these guys behave more realistically. for someone who doesnt watch soap operas, boy do some of my fics have severe soap opera drama in them and every day i fight to like. stop that lmao

Thursdays were literal hell. The absolute worst. They made Nico wish he’d never been born, that he’d ever decided to get out of bed, that he’d gone to college in the first place.

No, that was an exaggeration. If he hadn’t gone to college, then he wouldn’t have met Will - he wouldn’t have switched roommates halfway through freshman year to live with Will instead, they wouldn’t have gotten an apartment together off-campus the next year, and Nico wouldn’t wake up in Will’s arms every morning, unless Will just so happened to wake up first.

But every Thursday, without fail, Nico was the first one awake. His alarm sounded, noisy and obnoxious from across the room to intentionally force him out of bed - and quickly, so that Will wouldn’t be disturbed when he technically didn’t have to be up for two more hours - which meant he would have to expose himself to the cold of the room. He would have to leave Will’s loving, sleepy embrace. He would have to get dressed, and leave, and he wouldn’t return until after the sun had set, because it was Thursday, and Thursdays sucked, because Will worked afternoons on Thursdays, too, which meant this might be Nico’s only chance to see his boyfriend all day, and--
