Being idealistic or being realistic?
We all have ideals. We all have standards. We all have expectations and very often - high & sublime expectations of how the world must be, how things must unwrap, how people should be. But again, those are all ideals and even though I'm all up for setting your price high, let's also be realistic. There'll be defining moments in life where you don't have many options to choose from, where there are more limitations than possibilities. Yes, ideally there must be no war but all that we see around is a world that's building the next big bomb that could annihilate the entire human existence. Yes, ideally there must be no poverty but all that we could see around is rich getting richer with their avarice and greed unchecked while the poor is getting poorer literally starving to death out of hunger and zero medical care. So let's be realistic while we know what our ideals are. Imperfections will be there wherever humans exist but the way forward is not by running away or disassociating yourself. Rather, roll up your sleeves, reframe your mind, see what's to be done internally and what could be done externally. Leave the rest to destiny. Even if you be blank for now, trust - the Universe always has a plan. As they say, the path will only become clearer as you begin to walk...
