My wife and I need to pay some bills and we are trying to sell her oboe. Here it is described in her words:
Marigaux oboe serial #25289. I purchased it slightly used from the former principal oboist of the Oregon Symphony in 1997 and I have played it in both professional and amateur groups. It is a beautiful instrument with a dark, focused sound. The mechanism still feels brand new. I've never had to have any major work done on this horn. Intonation is effortless all up and down the range. Comes in original case and has both end caps.
We recently moved from the big city where I had a good job to a small town much closer to my elderly mother and two of my siblings. It’s been very hard to find a decent job, but I have. BUT, I don’t start until May. So between now and then, we need to cover the gaps and catch up on bills.
We’re asking $3000.00 US for the oboe. It is a great instrument and we will ship it for free anywhere in the US. If you are international, we will figure out how to get it to you at minimal cost.
