My husband, looking for a chip clip: “I need a clippy.”
Me, wrapping my arms around him and whispering seductively along his neck: “I’ll be your Clippy. Is there anything I can help you with? Can I make some suggestions?”
Husband and I have been playing a game where we play music from media we know the other has watched and they try to guess it but it's just turned into us trolling eachother with our embarrassing favorite anime from our teens.
Pros and Cons of being married
Pro: When you’re driving, your partner can feed you french fries while you drive so you can keep both your hands on the wheel
Cons: You miss them when you’re not together
my husband cried multiple times watching Heartstopper with me
my work here is done
Marry the right person....
I sent this to my husband as a self depreciating joke about my weight....hahaha
When he saw it he turned to me and frowned. "You are a trophy wife though! Like not in the sense that you are just around to stand next to me and look perfect. When you look at a trophy you think 'I won! I did a good job!' And I did! I did a good job when I chose you. We work hard to make sure we have a good relationship. You're my trophy because everytime I look at you I know I have something great. So what if your obsessed with donuts and Pumpkin Spice lattes! I love my trophy wife!"
I married the right person for me.
Currently typing my married name into a text file to see how I like it. Also, a brief flicker of anxiety this morning led me to think about whether I should change my middle name as well... because letting go of my father's surname leaves me with the Gaelic version of my mother's name as a middle name... and who the hell needs that?
