The rich flavors of chocolate and peanut butter are combined with the gooey goodness of marshmallows to create the delightful and addictive treat known as Marshmallow Crack. It's simple to prepare and ideal for sating your cravings for sweets.
Ingredients: 1 package 16 oz of marshmallows. 1/2 cup 1 stick of unsalted butter. 1/4 cup of light corn syrup. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. 6 cups of crispy rice cereal. 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips. 1 cup of peanut butter.
Instructions: Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and set it aside. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the marshmallows and corn syrup to the melted butter, stirring until the marshmallows are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Quickly add the crispy rice cereal to the marshmallow mixture and stir until it's well coated. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish using a greased spatula or your hands. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted. Pour the chocolate and peanut butter mixture evenly over the marshmallow mixture in the baking dish, spreading it with a spatula to cover the entire surface. Allow the Marshmallow Crack to cool and set for at least 1 hour at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Once set, cut into squares or rectangles and serve. Enjoy!
