my mom has “captain marvel” on and i just have to say, marvel really fucked up if you ask me when it comes to “secret invasion”. ik it’s a comic plot that they decided to go with, but making the skrulls evil in the mcu just made carol’s whole arc in her movie redundant and it pisses me off sm when i think abt it
and i didn’t actually watch “secret invasion”, so plz don’t come at me if im being misinformed concerning it, but what exactly was the point in having the skrulls decide to invade all of a sudden? seriously, carol fury and maria helped them not be wiped out, and over the years between the film and the show she did her best to help fight back against the kree, the known bad guys of the universe bc they suck and work for thanos, they just decide to betray her people back after everything? after fighting with the avengers and their assembled armies in “endgame” (if i remember correctly, it’s been awhile since i watched anything marvel) they turn against carol and fury, their allies, and earth as a whole?
