I never read Maus. In our 12th grade curriculum it was Night. And I was the only Jew in my section. Eyes would pass over me when passages were read. And I think it was the first time these Midwest kids glimpsed the reality that the numbers they learned about in history across the hall, were human beings like the girl sitting three seats down.
That is why we tell these stories. You are not meant to like it. You are meant to learn from it.

On the menu for this weekend:
Design survey questionnaire for factor analysis (I’m doing a research study to determine why so few math students are using online tutoring at my institution)
Get approval from Institutional Research department to deploy my survey
Diddle around with Tableau (I want to build a faculty-facing data dashboard breaking down tutoring utilization at my institution)
Y’all, I think I’m doing it! I think I’m growing into a baby data scientist!

I feel like there’s an energy leech attached to me, sapping all my drive and motivation 😵 I’m sitting atm, so I’m out of my normal environment too...
But surely setting up for next month counts, right?
Today marks the first day of my MSc in Psychology at the University of Essex! So excited to get started - now if only moodle would update so I could read the unit outlines 😂
🌲🌊🌞 My sister's birthday mini-break has finished, and it's time for me to lock back in to the preparatory studies for my M.A.
🖊️🌿The first couple of pages of notes on "Frames of reference: Psychotherapy, art and art therapy" (Edwards, 2004)🌿🖊️
🍀 My last page from yesterday, sorry for the slightly blurry photo.
Learning about the founders of art psychotherapy has been very interesting! 🍀
