I finally got some sleep a little after 5am and woke up around 9am. I got a little food in me and I've had to put on compression hose to prevent blood clots. The doctor has given me an H1 and H2 blocker along with an oral Prednisone; which is a bit high risk considering it wasn't actually the benydryl I reacted to in the ER, but the IV Asthma steroid they gave me in the ER. So there's a 50/50 chance I could react. They're keeping me at least tonight for observation, and maybe until Monday to make sure that 1. my meds stop my allergic reaction, and 2. My meds themselves don't cause any allergic reactions. And I'm also my doctor's first EDS patient in his 26 Year MD career.
