Dhawan master with a reader who thinks 'oh no he's hot' ...except (gasp), they said it out loud! :o
Here it is! Thanks for the ask, dear. I read a fic with a similar prompt so I tried to write a plot as different as possible from that. I hope you like it! Also this is good for both M!Reader and F!Reader.
Plot: Y/N is a servant on the planet of Xeron and when the Master arrives with his army of cybermen, the Reader sees the perfect opportunity to finally leave.
Warnings: death and cruelty
The screams coming from outside the room were high pitched and desperate. You could hear noises of laser and explosions getting closer to the door you were trying to keep locked.
-They’re coming! -
The princess was crying like a baby, trying to squeeze herself against the farthest corner of the room. You rolled your eyes and kept pushing the door closed as you felt someone starting to do the exact opposite on the other side.
-Oh my gods, I’m gonna die! -she exclaimed covering her tear strained face with her hands.
-Keep that door closed! - she screamed hysterically.
-That’s what I’m trying to do- you explained, annoyed.-Well, try harder! - You grumbled. That girl had always been unbearable. At least since you had known her.
The Xerons had taken you away from your home planet when you were fourteen. You were given to the princess as a gift and she had kept you as a slave since then. You hated them. That planet, that race, that annoying, whining girl.
-I can’t die, I’m the princess! - you heard her moan.-Oh, so you think everybody who isn’t of regal blood can die like it’s no big deal? - you asked looking at her over your shoulder.-Of course, it wouldn’t be a big deal! But I’m the princess! I’m supposed to be the heir of the throne! -
You looked at her with an astonished expression. You didn’t particularly care what she thought and certainly, you didn’t give a damn about the inhabitants of Xeron. But if there was something you hated, it was people who believed to be above everyone else when, in fact, they were way below.
You took a step away from the door and you heard the lock cracking.
-What are you doing?! - screamed the princess in a panic.-I’m proving you wrong- you smiled. The door flew open and the cybermen entered the room, marching toward you both. -Who is the Princess? -You stepped away from the crying girl. -She’s all yours boys-
One of them picked the princess up as she screamed and kicked the air and you waved at her on the way out when suddenly you felt a metallic hand close around your wrist.
-What? I gave you the princess! I’m just a servant--The Master said, no civil prisoners-You frowned at them.-The Master? Who’s the Master? -
-The Master is our ally-
-Alright, then I demand to speak to him--The Master said no civil prisoners-
-Yes yes, I get that! - you snorted. -Look, you need me, alright? I’ve been held captive here for over ten years, I can provide you with whatever it is you’re looking for. Just let me talk to this Master-
The cybermen looked at each other, considering your words if they were even capable of that.-The prisoner shall be brought to the Master- -Finally-
The cybermen led you to the room of the throne where the main exponents of the reign were kept. They were all looking utterly terrified. You kinda felt satisfied at the sight. They had treated you like an animal all those years. Finally, some good old karma was making things right for you. You just needed to convince this Master guy to let you go, somehow.
The cybermen let go of your arms, leaving you next to one of the king’s counsellors. You were…in line?-Well well, who do we have here? -A jolly voice made you look toward the throne where a man was sitting with one of his legs thrown over the golden armrest. He was holding the sceptre in his right hand, moving it in the air like a child with his new toy.
-We have brought you the princess- said the mechanical voice of one of the cyberman.
The Master’s face light up in joy and he jumped from his seat. -Fantastic! - He said fixing his dark purple jacket as he walked toward the princess, who was visibly shaking on her feet.
-You must be…princess Janix- he said pointing at her. The princess let out a soft sob, clearly trying and failing to keep her composure.
-Oh, ssh sssh- he cooed sweetly. -There’s no reason to be scared--Please…let me go…- she whispered.-Now let’s not be unreasonable. Where would the fun be in that? - he said with a big, psycho smile.
He looked somewhat charming. Crazy as hell, but charming. You liked his demeanor and his dark hair and the way his locks fell perfectly on his forehead and his dark skin shining under the light of the torches.
-I will give you anything you want- she pleaded.-Mh- the Master placed his index on his chin, thoughtfully. You could tell even from a distance, he wasn’t even considering her offer.-But you see, my dear- he said getting closer to her ear. -I want destruction-The princess started shaking even harder and the Master rolled his eyes.-Now now- he said. -There is one thing you can do, to make me consider your proposal-
The princess looked up at him with hope. -What is it? Anything-
The Master’s eyes became darker and the smile on his face more mischievous.-Kneel-
You snorted. -Hot-
Everybody’s eyes were on you in a second. You didn’t notice at first, then you saw the disgusted face of the counsellors and the terrified and confused expression of the princess.
-Oh crap, did I say that out loud? - you asked looking around the room, meeting the Master’s eyes. He was looking at you with a deep, serious gaze and for a moment you thought he might just kill you now. But then he smiled. He looked…amused.
-You’re the quirky one, aren’t you? - he asked putting his hand on his hip.-You could say that--What’s your name? --Y/N-
The Master nodded. -You’re not part of the royal family-
You looked down at your dirty old clothes. -Clearly not. I’m a servant of the princess-
-Why and how did you get here? -You looked toward the cybermen who were now resting against the doors to keep anyone from escaping.
-I asked to see you-The Master pretended to be flattered. -Who, poor old me? What for? - You grinned. -To avoid dying, mainly-He laughed. -Isn’t that what anybody wants? --Well, yeah but I have a good reason-
You could feel everybody watching you but you just ignored their gazes.
-Let’s hear it then-
That was your moments to try and convince him. -I spent most of my life kept here, working for the royal family. I wanna see the universe-
-And you think that’s a better reason than anybody’s? -You simply shrugged. -No, but I had the balls to speak up so I think that makes me different-
The Master was studying you like he was trying to decide whether to kill you or to keep you talking for a while more.
-It does indeed- he said with a thoughtfull expression, rubbing his beard.-If you’re so different as you claim- he started walking toward you. -Prove it-
He was only a few feet away now and you could see properly those chocolate eyes. They looked ancient like they had seen and lived more than anyone could ever imagine. You wanted that knowledge, you wanted to see the things that he saw.
He handed you a small device with a red button on it.-Kill her-
You looked toward the princess, who now looked like she might faint any minute.
-It’s either you or her-You looked back at him. He had an excited spark in his eyes and you liked the way he was looking at you. You grabbed the object from his hand and walked toward the girl.
-Y/N please no, you know me, we’re friends! -
You didn’t let her finish her beg, you pushed the button and she fell to the ground. The whole room gasped and you heard someone clapping. -Brilliant! -
The Master was now behind you and you turned to face him.
-I knew I liked you-
You smiled up at him. You could feel that was the start of something big.
