Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (2011)
"Whatever this artefact is capable of, you are not worthy to wield it."No man is!"
Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad - Assassin's Creed 2007
Malik Al Sayf as a Lover
for @paws-of-the-quill
This one will have some freakin adorable stuff so be warned in advance!
He enjoys having tea with her in those quiet, slow mornings and evenings. Making eyes at her over their cups and hearing her adorable giggle. Malik has come to realize that his hand feels empty without hers in it. At some point during their quiet time, his hand will find hers, or touch her arm or come to rest on her thigh.
Hearing her soft shuffling around him, the soft scratch of the parchment they work on together, the scent of incense from the day before caught in the locks of her hair, mixed with her natural intoxicating scent. The slow, sweet kisses they share in the morning before anyone can annoy them.
Malik could lay beside her and watch her rest for hours. His brown eyes trailing over her every feature, reaching over to twist the locks of her hair around his fingers, trace his fingertips over her cheeks. He loves adoring her and appreciating every tiny detail that he can.
When they wake up in the morning he loves the sound of her voice softly asking him if he’s up yet. It makes his heart race in his chest when she asks “Habbibi are you awake?”.
He doesn’t open his eyes at first before her shadow covers his face… then suddenly he’ll grab her, flip her over making her laugh and grin down at her. With a sweet and firm kiss he confirms that he is indeed very much awake.
codextober day 2: codex!
this is a 3D pixel art remake of an old piece!
Altaïr steals an heiress
You are a princess from a crusaders' country.
You travel to Jerusalem with your court during the crusades in pilgrimage, and for more safety use a servant to stand for you as a double.
Altaïr is task to retrieve a document that you are known to carry that would put your father at the head of the Crusades' operations. The Brotherhood seeks to avoid conflict.
He doesn't know that the one he stole from the double is fake, and that you are the one to carry the real one.
You confront him on the streets because you thought he meant to attack the princess.
Somehow, with the guard behind you, you manage to corner him but he kills most of your guards before you are all taken by slavers that captures you.
Altaïr was on the verge to flee but end up trying to save you, only to be captured himself. He understood that you are the one with the real document.
The two of you are stuck together and travel across cities, getting very close and change your resentment toward each other in pure admiration. He likes your courage, and is touched by the fact that you feel left out from your family even though he doesn't know who you truly are. You are impressed in his capabilities in combat and his philosophical insight, and that in the short time you travelled with him, you know he is a good man, even though he doesn't open up to you as much as you do. You know he cares a great deal about his weapons, because being stripped of them angers him a lot.
Despite his attempts, you still doesn't give up the location of the document. He ends up explaining to you why he needs it.
One day, he is bought by a foreman and manage to escape. He comes back for you, and to your surprise binds you in order to drag you back to Jerusalem and get the scroll back. You follow him without resistance because the truth is, you like him, and you like being with him.
He manages to get his sword and secret blade back, but is mad because the rest has been sold.
Back to Jerusalem, you stall as much as you can, and try to get recognised by anyone you know, but Altaïr takes too good care of you.
You pass by a herald that annonces your father's death. You freeze and fall on your knees. Altaïr calls out to you and when you still don't move he carries you away from the crowd. You realise that being the only daughter your late father have, you will have the duty to carry the next king. Your life seems over.
Altaïr has no idea what you're going through but worries nonetheless. Since you both escaped from the slaver, he's been trying to fight his feelings for you.
You come to your senses and finally decide to tell him who you are, but you are stopped by someone from your father's court who recognizes you and immediately order that we free you and chase your captor. You have no time to explain, and Altaïr escapes but not without hearing your true title.
You are to be sent back to your country and be wed, to save the kingdom because your extended family would cause ruins otherwise. You have little freedom left but you get your hands on a steel dagger with an familiar eagle head in your father's men armoury.
For his part, Altaïr feels betrayed and confused. He doesn't know how he planned this to turn out but not with you being obliged to go far away. The document he was meant to retrieve is null now that your father is dead. His mission is accomplished, yet he still decides to seeks you out.
He watches you from the rooftops for days before decides he can't wait any longer. You're due to depart soon.
He comes to you in your favorite spot, without anyone around. You stare into each other eyes and you give him his dagger that you kept on you at all times. He asks what is going to become of you, you explain to him that you already have many suitors back in your country with a sad air. He asks if that's what you really want.
When you answer, he offers that you run with him.
Rant 2
Okay wait no hold on I have a continuation to my ac 1 rant.
Just a small detail because I do not know when I will write these ideas and I don’t want them lost to the abyss and also I don’t want to write the essay I’m suppose to be writing for class : )
OKAY so, Tazim. Yes, Tazim.
Tazim who has his designated table for his rag tag group. Tazim who’s crew have their designated seating at this table - much like we all did in high school. Everyone had their seat. No one else can take that seat. No other group can take your table. It’s the law.
This crew who was tightly knit due to many experiences they’ve had together as well as their beliefs (Altair returning - putting him on such a high pedestal that they look up to him as an icon or somethin nearly to a god.)
Tazim’s crew who go through an important, deadly experience with high hopes because “Altair got through worse, so can we.” and lose one of their own due to a mishap. They are one less man now. Tazim who, despite the loss of this crewmate, refuses to let anyone take this friend’s place where they sit because that was his spot and no one else’s. He’s coming back. That’s his false belief. He always leaves this space empty.
- I’ll save you a seat when the table’s set, and hold your place until you return. -
