A blogger made an offhand comment complaining about Match.com tumblr ads.
The person or people who run the official @matchdotcom tumblr 1) mocked her for talking about being lonely on her personal blog 2) called the blogger a b*tch 3) told her to shut up (in that order). [source]
And people just acted like this shit was clever and funny instead of, you know, an example of gross professional misconduct.
This is the company’s official blog. Someone was payed money by a corporation to act like an immature sexist douchebag towards a total stranger on said corporation’s official web presence.
Paid PR representatives should not behave like immature sexist douchebags.
Whoever runs this blog should be fired.
