☕️ on white queer people

they fucking suck <3 like as a concept. obviously not every single white queer person is annoying and harmful but as a Group they just. weaponize their queerness for oppression points and also just create a narrative about queerness that makes young queer people of color (like myself) think that queerness is an inherently white thing when it’s existed in non white cultures for centuries.

also colonization erased a lot of cultural queer identities and forces poc to fit themselves into labels created by and oftentimes for white people.

especially gender is so influenced by whiteness i have sometimes had difficulty disentangling my desire to be white from my desire to be a different gender

Pre-orders won’t be until all of our artists and authors have their pieces completed! Their deadline is December 15th, so preorders will be sometime in early January to give us a little time to put the whole thing together and sort out any final details!

@matchstickz​‘s art is orange juice for your eyes. his art is just so???? fulfilling???? to look at????? All of his locus and grif content just makes me so happy. Please look at all of this its amazing. I feel very strongly about these two.

Here we have some grifs, which you should take a long look at. I hadn’t considered kai with short hair before and i was missing out. The way he draws armour fits in so well with how he draws the characters, its simple but it still looks like armour.

Locus the lovemonger is also very therapeutic to look at. I really love this artists style, the shapes are all so soft and the faces are so expressive they tell you so much :O Seriously go give this artist some love <3
