Writing a math thesis proposal is strange
If it was honest, it would say “I wanna find out stuff about this thingy. I don’t know what other thingys would help, and I can’t describe the properties of the thingy. If I could, then I wouldn’t be writing a proposal on it. Please give me money.” Note: This is for a Master’s degree. I am allowed to not know things about the thingy. That’s the point.
You know when someone just... gets you?

I've been a super senior for soooo long. I'm glad that I finally graduated 😁.
I guess I never posted I officially started applying to grad schools! Next week I'm going to UW-Madison to meet with a professor and visit the school! I'm also going to UChicago over break and visiting and seeing a professor! I hope to make an amazing impression.
U of Washington requires students in the Math PhD program to pass these foreign language exams where you demonstrate your ability to translate mathematical literature into English. That is so cool.
