[ If Zed is currently between the ages of 34-35, and they captured Jhin 19 years prior as stated in the comics, that would make Zed and Shen around 15 or 16 at that time. Jhin is mentioned to be (about) 4 years Zed’s senior, meaning he was ascertained somewhere between the ages of 19-20, and making him very close to 40 as it stands in current canon. 

I also remember reading somewhere that his killing spree lasted 4 years prior to being captured, which I rather like, though I don’t know if that holds any merit at all.  If it does, that means Jhin would have started killing people between the ages of 15-16. ]
