Chysposa, the Beast. Maulerfiend of the Graven Gorgons Chapter.
"Chysposa. I can only hope that she is truly a beast, with no true mind to understand what she is now that the fleshshapers and warsmiths were done with her.
When not given the command to hunt, her eyes stare blankly and acidic drool falls from her slack jaw. I believe... no I hope, that there is nothing left of my friend inside that bestial creature.
Still, I could not help but to order her name and title engraved in the runes of our old home, blazing across her upper carapace. She can't see it there, and don't have the mind to read it anyway, but at least those that see her will know that she was once something more; was once a person."
Still. She, or the creature that once was her, seems happy enough. She purrs with contentment when allowed to gorge on steaming red meat after a battle and responds well to scritches on her jaw. Whatever remains of her mind now, I believe that she has some sort of simple happiness.
She still responds to her name. At least we have that.

Maulerfiend is one of my favorite models. I can’t wait to paint another one in the future!
igth lord Mauler bats rampage.
The metal monsters of the Araknophobia legion.
Along with that, I’ve also painted up my first forgefiend. And let’s get it out of the way now, I know he can have 3 cannons. I prefer this head option. I really don’t like the look of the cannon face. Regardless of strength.
Alright. This was a fun and kinda, revolutionary approach to my army. Devout followers and worshipers of Nurgle, everyone been painted green. I did a bone color model once and it didn’t land with me, preferring the green. But this guy was different. I always see all heavy weapons as a iron warrior specialty, and being a warband, not legion, i kinda get free reign on where I “get” my soldiers and artillery. Be it a gift, trade or theft, I can recruit from anywhere.
But with this big boi, I had an idea, he’s a resurrected warmachine from a forgotten battlefield. The shell forged from the dirt he once fell, a new deamon slave stuffed in him and made to carry out my warlords wishes on the battlefield. The years his hull was left to rust and slowly grow moss, never polished cause that’s too much work and would reverse the lovely decay Nurgle so pushes for, the armour was hardly repaired, but rather embraced as blessed by Nurgle. With the trim being green (repainted?) to fit thematically with the army. His basing is far more extravagant that the rest of the army so I’ll have to see how they all look together in time. But for now, the armour ties them all together at least.
Stride forward my engine's of war!! Show no mercy, let none live, leave nothing but destruction in your shadow.
The process of building and painting this Warpsmith wasn't great but the result is very satisfying! I love the new Warpsmith but this one still has something great about it, a bit darker for some reason (could be nostalgia though)
This has to be the worst model I've ever built, every part besides the head had to be heated up and bend to fit or be straight. But it's only upwards from here, not much could top this. I absolutely love him though, a great addition to my collection for sure!
