          → his voice is reminescent of GHOSTS -- a dead               friend made living in a mockery of all he once                was; darth laqueus is none the wiser to the irony               of his APPEARANCE, of his accented voice, yet               it’s all there -- he is a warped version of kenobi,               the famous late general of the republic, cast in               SHADOW, cast in DARKNESS. unaware he               remains as he regards the jedi with somber calm,               eyes of acidic yellow on the younger male, saber               still clipped to his belt. he’s no barbarian, mind you;               TALKING still preceeds fighting, even in this grim                REINCARNATION of his.

   → the impact of his shoulder against an incoming passer-by jostled him         nearly out of his own balance, but he stopped himself short from losing        his footing. “--oh, i’m sorry,” it’s not an eloquent answer to being run into,        of course, but politeness is second nature to the college teacher. without        looking towards the hurried stranger as he leans down to gather a couple        of his belongings that had fallen from his paste. reaching out for the pen        that clattered against the pavement as well for a belonging of the stranger,        a CHILL struck his spine as he brushed his arm against the other’s, eyes        drawn to the figure beside him, he feels a surge of electricity go through him        as he comes to notice this man’s face should feel MUCH LESS FAMILIAR       THAN THIS, this feeling of deja vu nothing but inappropriate as he let out a        small sound of acknowledgement. drawing on words instead of letting silence        draw on, it takes him longer than he’d like to admit to speak up.

         “... have we seen each other before?” the absurdity of the cliche of his speech           is clear even to himself. “i know this sound odd, i can tell, but...” and he trails off           in his confusion, deciding to let the other speak.

     Overwhelming and mind bending pain. That was all Padme could feel in those hours after her separation from her beloved. She knew that when ( or if ) she awoke after the birth of her children, nothing would be the same. The galaxy was once again in peril, and it might as well be her fault for not reading the signs sooner. For not listening to Obi-Wan when he spoke nothing but the truth. A harsh one, but the truth nonetheless.

           Her greatest love had been stolen away. A stranger wore his face. He might as well have died. In fact, it might have been better for everyone if he had.

      But Padme had not the time, nor the energy, to think such thoughts, for despite what she had originally thought, she did awaken. And when she did, she had two newborns in her arms. They didn’t have time for grieving those who were now lost, as when the Senator had healed, the family was rushed to the new Resistance base, far at the reaches of the galaxy. They were to be kept safe from any searching eyes, and in particular, the twins’ father, for no one knew what would become of, well, anyone, were he to find them.

            But that did nothing to stop Padme from hoping, praying, and dreaming. Of one day being reunited with her husband.

This is so hard. Padmé is no. 1 always as she is my heart and soul, but I literally love so many of the characters so much. Especially Anakin, Obi-Wan, R2D2, C3PO, Han Solo, Leia, Rey, Finn, Poe ahfjdshfs just all of them are my CHILDREN.
