Kimi having that tiny wobble on lap 56 in Qatar changed the championship picture. That single moment let Lando slip past, and those two extra points bumped Max’s deficit from ten to twelve heading into Abu Dhabi. But if he hadn't defended so long, Lando would have certainly caught Carlos too and the points deficit would be even higher.

And honestly, the whole thing feels cursed after the way some fans reacted. Karma is coming in loud. The reaction to Kimi after Qatar was ugly. I’m saying this as a Max fan who supports him every weekend. Watching parts of the fanbase melt down and hurl abuse at Kimi was embarrassing. Seeing death threats aimed at a driver over one correction on worn tyres is insane. The fact that FOM aired GP's heat-of-the-moment radio message just stoked the fire, and Helmut’s stirring comments didn’t help either.

It’s been sitting in the back of my mind that if Max loses this title, the reason won’t be pace or strategy. It’ll be karma punishing the way some fans behaved. You cannot treat drivers like that and expect the universe to hand you clean luck in return. Fans are supposed to respect the people in the cars, not bully them.

I don’t believe in karma most days, but after Qatar, it’s hard not to feel like the scale just tipped against us right when the championship is on the line. Personally, I'm going to do everything I can to energize the good karma back into our favor. It's not over until it's over. After all, Max has driven amazingly this season, I want luck to be on our side!
