Why do people like Maxson? Why. He's a racist bastard, first of all; and I don't care that he's "young", he's old enough to know that people don't deserve to die for being made, not born. There’s a reason you don’t see much/any Maxson, Danse or BoS stuff on my blog. I honestly don’t like them, but have nothing against people who do.
Generally, a good way to see if I like/dislike a character is to see if I mention them at all. If I don’t, probably not. I’m not one to hate on a character when it’s so much less stressful to just ignore them and focus on the ones I like.
