just finished the second book in the selection series, the elite

i hate everyone but the queen, america and maxon. however i am upset with america and maxon because they are being dumbasses, therefore they’re grounded.

I just finished reading The Elite (book #2, The Selection) and all I can think about is Red Queen. A bunch of girls fighting for the prince, the main girl being from the lowest class. How America's nickname is Mer, and Maxons full name is Maxon Calix Schreave. Mer and Maxon Calix... Mare, Maven and Cal. Also, Gisa and May both being the adorable little sister. Am I the only one finding all the similarities?

*ahem* May marries this soft little butch named Amber. Amber has this long, straight, light brown hair, crisp blue eyes, adorable glasses, a little black nose ring, and always wears a snapback. May loves wearing Amber’s button up shirts (can you imagine how hot May would look damn). Technically, Amber is her assistant, but that’s just so May can take her on all her trips around the world. Also May is Osten’s fav aunt(/aunt figure).

I absolutely love this. Amber, being May’s assistant/secret wife, has practically become a part of the family and I can see her and America getting along. Also, May and Osten would be absolute chaos, they’d love each other so much!

7.  Christmas Day (The One)
