I tend to listen to individual tracks more than albums these days, because more often than not an artist will have a few tracks I love and the rest are not particularly compelling to me. So when I find an album that's enjoyable to listen to as a whole (or even 60+%), it means I really like that artist's sound, and usually they're really good at writing interesting songs that don't sound cliché. So, here are my favorite music albums I listened to this year:

Shinedown "Planet Zero" (and very honorable mention to three-track album "Killing Fields")

Pink Floyd "The Division Bell"

Lady Gaga "Mayhem"

Alexis Ffrench - basically everything of his lol, the man is a musical genius

I just listened to Chromatica 2020(?), i didnt think Mayhem 2025 would end up having that disco element lol, i assumrd she got it out of her system. The start of Shadow Of A Man sounds nothing like Disease for example lol. Its good tho! Not all my thing though.

as a cane user id love to have it personally but i feel sad seeing how she uses it when she has meant so much to me as a disabled gay artist… i expected higher respect from her

i think not using mobility aids as props and performing movement disorders with them is kind of the most obvious fucking thing i can think of. US pop culture is moving more and more right and its hard to watch.
