i took a personality test (INTP), i guess it is kind of accurate to how i am. but at the same time i don’t trust most free personality tests, because none of them are credible enough and there’s always some source that says it’s a bad test.

if u know a good test let me know.. or if there’s any additional research u recommend me doing to help me better understand on how mbti works?

I personally suggest starting with this simple quiz, designed by @readingontheroof, another tumblr user.  It will classify each function for you so that you just pick which one sounds most like you, and then follow the links through.

In terms of how mbti works, there are a few key books that I knew of, and read some of a few years ago, and can look up if you want (I can make a proper post on that later?) - but really read up about cognitive functions (e.g. Fe, Si, etc.) rather than the “letters” of the types (e.g. N, F, etc.).

Good MBTI blogs are @funkymbtifiction , @enfjmusings , @mbtilistings but they may be a little confusing for a beginner.

Is it an INFJ thing?

Is it an INFJ thing that if I ever get excited for something I tend to see just my happiness and not the happiness (or other feelings of others) or I totally blend out my environment, but if I'm neutral to sad I'm prone to analyse constantly the people and the environment in general?

INTJ character things

I’m writing a story [https://www.wattpad.com/512659180] where I’m trying to make the main character an INTJ. What I’ve discovered is that can be difficult, as she can seem like an ISTJ, INTP or INFJ at times.

I’m going to make a ‘signs a character is an INTJ’ post soon but I need some help!

What are some small things you do / an INTJ would do in day to day life? I’ve got a short list myself but I’d love a few more points!
