hey everyone! I’m currently working on a romantic/mystery (and a bit yandere) indie visual novel, and I wanted to share my MC designs 𐔌՞ ܸ.ˬ.ܸ՞𐦯

the protagonist’s gender and pronouns will be fully customizable (male, female, and non-binary versions are included!!), but the physical appearance on CGs will look like this depending on your choice ~

Redesigns are doooooone!

Got the refs! And for shits and giggles I did Cain as well. I'd say those are the two love interests of Eve.

As mentioned before, Eve and Adam's relationship is... toxic to say the least? It's exploitative on both ends. Adam is casually and constantly threatening Eve's life but Eve is very aware of just how horny Adam is for her. So she talks her shit but lets him get juuuust close enough to fantasize but not close enough to act on those fantasies.

Over time, Adam will have to deal with the results of pushing Eve to her limits. The woman he initially lusted over is a woman who needs prep work and time to remain as stylish as she is. Without that, she becomes what Eve is naturally. Though he can't really find it in himself to dislike who she is behind the gyaru look, for she maintains that fire that made him so crazy about her in the first place.

As for Eve and Cain, it's less overtly toxic but still not great. They actually enjoy each other's company, feeling a sense of companionship in their shared drinking habits and feeling trapped within this company they're in. (Eve being far more literal) However, by the time Cain finds Eve, she was pushed to her lowest and her most raw in a sense.

She's mixed so —without her products— her curlier, darker hair is growing back in. She's long since had to abandon her sky blue contacts for her natural gunmetal eyes. And she was changed into simpler clothing; can't have her being too recognizable lest someone notice that she's not supposed to be here. Her personality is no longer being held up by the peppiness she'd show to the public. He met a very different Eve than the one Adam met. And he liked her for it. In a guilty sense, he liked having someone just as beaten down as him. Someone that didn't love Adam as a default and even seemed to hate him.

Which is why he starts feeling a nasty sense of dread when it's clear that Eve doesn't intend to lay down and die. She deserves her freedom and thus she'll work to get it or die trying. He can't help but be envious that she could have so much fire even after being snuffed time and time again. And if he was being purely honest with himself —even if he hated himself for it— he almost wanted her to stay snuffed out.

I might use Casey the most just to add a little diversity to TFC, but the others are still gonna be around

I know, I know, they technically have canon names. But, I actually don't like them. I just used the canon hairstyles instead so you'll know it's them, at least

Fun fact: Dante having dyslexia is actually a subtle nod to my mom, since she also has dyslexia. I just thought it was a cute little wrap around to do

Decided to give my MCs a little refurbishing. Just a lil.

In order, we got Marigold, (I finally realize that I have been spelling the word wrong.) a Matthew kisser.

Mika, an everyone kisser (mainly Damien tho)

Nova, an Erik kisser.

And "Mika" Talia, another Damien kisser.

Why do I have two Damien kissers?
