Random NATM headcanons
Larry has an album for pictures of the exhibits. He makes sure to include all of them and sometimes gets a couple shot.
Ahk likes to read, he didn't really get to when he was alive and if he did it was very little or read for him. Larry brings in different types of books for him and he reads them all.
The exhibits that were free still feel bad despite Ahk telling them he understands multiple times.
Teddy and Sac ride around on Texas. Everyone knows to leave them be and have their alone time. Sometimes Larry allows them to sneak out into the parking lot and the park across from the museum of they promise to be back by sunrise.
Ahk doesn't swear in English. For one when he was let out Nicky was still a kid, and Larry wouldn't appreciate him knowing that kind of language. And it's more natural for him to talk in his native tongue.
Game night is a thing. They take turns, each time someone new chooses what game they play. Sac likes twister and Atilla likes Clue.
Ahk rly doesn't like the dark horse video but didn't mind Dreamworks' Prince of Egypt. It's one of the more accurate movies he's seen.
Be glad he has some self control because kids tEST him so much. Between the tablet and the dancing and all the other stereotypical shit this man puts up with (a la @rome-and-other-history )

Let's talk abt Ahks wrappings for a sec, a la NATM groupchat
They do a yearly checkup or whatever to make sure the mummy's decomposing right
Pfft-
So they get creative with wrapping him back up quickly
This may include;
-holding the wrapping and making him spin
-laying then out and him. Just. Rolling.
-literally just balling him up (Anpu statue style) and hoping the tablet does it's thing
Not to get political or anything but Jed has definitely taught the exhibits "how to yeehaw properly"

Ahk and Sac likes tea. Ahk prefers Coffee though
Ahk does a lot of things that should be just normal things.
Nicky introduced him to Tumblr and dramatically sliding down railings ( a la @ ask the exhibits)
Oct is a cheesy romantic
Jed gets flustered reALly easy
Some of the exhibits overheat with all their jackets and hats and stuff

Speaking of Ahk gets cold rly easily
Bby grew up in Egypt I mean-
He's absolutely fascinated by snow "oh it's cold- why is it cold- oh no now I'm cold- I'll take that jacket now please-"
But he still tries to go out in just his funky little Egyptian croptop and tunic. Every. Damn. Time.
The minis and Sac often raid the cafeteria/staff room for food. They bring back Texas a carrot or apple.
McPhee eventually learns abt the tablet and can't grasp it. He calls and apologizes to Larry. Obv without actually finishing a sentence tho cause McPhee
Basically just the exhibits being chaotic :)
In my story "May saturnalia bring me a gift of you", the placing of this story is in a AU where Ahk goes back to New York and Larry is still night guard.
The museum family is privy to seeing the blossoming relationship between the tiny leaders.
Shit, I meant that the English exhibits were visiting NY!!
