Stop Calling Tony Stark a Hero Challenge (Failed)
Put on your safety goggles, because I am about to throw a brick through the window of the MCU fandom. I am so tired of the collective internet gaslighting us into believing Tony Stark is some tragic, selfless messiah when he is literally just an entitled, obnoxious, weapon-dealing nepo baby who never outgrew being a dumb toddler. Let’s look at the facts.
He spent his entire adult life getting filthy rich off the military-industrial complex, profiting directly from global devastation. Then he gets a conscience, builds a metal suit, and suddenly we’re all supposed to forget he paved the way for endless war?
He doesn’t have a "hero's arc." He has an "I have a god complex and massive structural power, so I'm going to make my psychological issues everyone else's problem" arc.
Every single major threat the Avengers faced? DIRECTLY HIS FAULT!
He created Ultron because of his own paranoid, unchecked ego.
He spawned half his own villains (Mysterio, Vulture, Aldrich Killian) literally just by being a terrible, arrogant boss who treated people like garbage.
He fractured the entire team in Civil War because he couldn’t handle his own guilt, so he tried to police everyone else while bringing a literal child (Peter Parker) into a war zone.
He treats women like disposable eye candy for half the franchise, treats his teammates with an insufferable, smug, punchable attitude, and throws a massive tantrum the second anyone tells him "no."
Calling him a hero is a joke. He’s a billionaire capitalist with zero accountability who bought his way into a superhero title while real heroes had to clean up his messes. His final sacrifice wasn't some grand act of ultimate growth—it was just the final, logical conclusion of a man who could never let anyone else have the last word.
He is an entitled dumb baby in a shiny tin suit and I am tired of pretending he deserves our respect.
There's this person constantly in the Sam tag that is so desperate for attention with their Sam hate that it's just starting to look pathetic.
If i cared I'd click on an confirm what they are (you know why they hate Sam) but right now I'm just cringing so hard at the attention seeking.
Y'all ever get into a old franchise, especially one that's still ongoing and get the feeling like "wow this is something so much bigger than me".
Like I'm so deep into the MCU right now but there are people who've been into this shit for years, almost two decades. Meanwhile I was 1 year old when the first movie came out and I only got into this franchise like 3 years ago 😭.
Idk just blows my mind sometimes.
my mom bought me socks. i know they look funny but this gift is still cute imho :!
(btw we had a bit of a fight with her today n im so ashamed) :{{{

Genuinely, who gave The Marvels fans (who are so girlboss just for that) to be so goddamn funny? Every tenth post is like about to make me destroy my lungs laughing, but I can't laugh because I'm in bio and I have to take notes and the class is quiet, and I am literally about to start crying-laughing. Why are y'all so funny? I'm gonna die trying to keep a straight face in this class.
