I always imagined Maria Hill or Yelena yelling at Natasha’s cat, Liho after Nat’s death the same way that Katniss yelled at Prim’s cat at the end of Mockingjay.
Anyways there’s my sad thought of the day.

After a difficult evening with Loki, Thor offers his counsel to Fandral.
Okay I'm like 84028482947236282% hyped for Endgame and I keep thinking about what we may or may not see and because it's the MCU I just keep thinking about OMG WHAT COULD THE CREDIT SCENES BE. And this happened and now I need it.
So picture we get this homage to the first Avengers - the shawarma scene. Everyone is at Avengers HQ, they're having a party/bbq/whatever. Just hanging out drinking and conversing like a normal group of friends. And it's like everyone. Even Clint's family is there and everyone is just happy and laughing and there.
Carol is talking to Sam, Bucky, and Nat when Steve walks up and says, "Sorry to interrupt. I've got something I wanted to give you." In his hands is his notebook from TWS, the one of things to catch up on.
Carol looks confused, does her little head tilt squint thing that's so adorable and is like "What's this?" and starts flipping through it.
Nat and Sam share a LOOK because they know what it is.
He claps his hand on her back/shoulder and is like "Trust me. You're gonna need some of it," and there's this pause, where he gets his super fond big brother Captain America look as he looks at her, "Captain."
And like... obviously Steve knows she has knowledge of A LOT in there because she wasn't gone as long as he was but it's Steve being so Steve. The notebook is more a symbol than anything, acknowledging that sorta shared history and passing the torch all at once, and my stupid brain can't stop thinking about this happening and I want to die.
"Do you trust me?"
"I do."

Imagine Maria Hill shouting at Liho about Natasha’s death like Katniss Everdeen shouted at Prim’s Cat in The Hunger Games
